There is no adapter to go from a European 7-Way to a US style 6-Way. You will either have to convert the connector on the vehicle or the one on the trailer. It all depends on what works best for you.

If you only tow the one trailer then converting the vehicle makes more sense. But if you tow other trailers that need the European 7-Way then converting the trailer makes more sense.

To convert the vehicle you will need a vehicle side 6-Way, # PK11609, and you will also need a special converter # RM-732. The issue is that European 7-Way trailer connectors have separate functions for all the lights. US trailers use combined brake lights and turn signals and the running lights are all on the same circuit.

What you will do is remove the European 7-Way. Then use a circuit tester such as # PTW2992 to determine the functions of the wires. Attach the left turn signal wire to the yellow input wire on converter # RM-732. Attach the right turn signal wire to the green input wire on the converter. And the brake light wire attaches to the input red wire.

The running light wire(s) will bypass the converter. Then you will wire in the output wires to the new vehicle side 6-Way to match what the trailer requires.
