Today we're going to be taking a look at part number PK11627. This is the Pollak Connector Bracket for 4-, 5- and 6-Pole Trailer Connector Sockets. It's a heavy-duty bracket that's going to allow you to mount a trailer connector socket to your tow vehicle. You can attach the bracket by drilling two holes and screwing the brackets in any location you like using these right here. If we take a measurement, center-on-center, the distance between those mount holes, we are going to get a measurement of about 1-13/16". If you do not want to drill, there are two other mounting options available. One is to use the plate that sticks out to the side of the bracket. This is designed to go under the hitch ball.
You would place the shank of the hitch ball through here, and then tighten the nut back on. It's going to hold it directly underneath the hitch ball. You need to make sure that the plate is on top, just like I'm showing you now. The next would be to install the bracket with a no-drill bracket. These are available. They're going to be sold separately.
You can find them right here on our website. There's going to be a short bracket and a long bracket. You can find those using part numbers 18140 or 18136. This bracket itself is made from a heavy-gauge steel. It's going to feature a black zinc coating, which is going to protect against rust and corrosion. This is designed to fit a variety of Pollak connector sockets. A few measurements to go over with you real quick, I just want to go over the overall length. Looks like that's going to give us a measurement of about 5-3/4" and the overall width here on top, that looks like it's going to give us a measurement of about 1-11/16". That's going to do it for our review of part number PK11627.

I have had this product for a year now and is still holding up well. I would have given this product 5 stars except that the metal is thin and can be bent easily.
I have it hooked up to a Honda Civic and the hitch hangs low to the ground. I have bottomed this connector out several times, but was able to bend it back into position.
Product would be better if a slot was cut in the bottom to allow for easy cable/connector removal from hitch when hitch is removed from the car.
too small for what i thought it was, hole is for smaller plug.

The hole in the mounting bracket here is one and nine sixteenths of and inch wide and one and three eights tall. What kind of plug do you have?
