How to Gain Access to Pins on Pollak 6-Pole Round Pin Trailer Wiring Socket PK11609
Question:
Im going to feel pretty dumb if the answer to my question is so simple. I have a Pollack 11-609 car end 6 pin socket. I want to open It up to wire it. There is a tiny Phillips screw midway down the body that which I guess is to release something but I cannot get it open to reach the wire connections. I cant find anything online. I have tried to pull out the 6 pins under the cover but they wont move and I dont see a join anywhere on the body. Any help would be appreciated

The Pollak 6-Pole Round Pin Trailer Wiring Socket # PK11609 does have a small Philips type screw to hold the rear collar in place. You will need to remove this screw completely and pull/twist the collar to remove it for access to the pins for attaching your wiring. Don't feel bad...it is always smarter to ask a question than not.
