The item's are what I needed to get my boat trailer wheel bearings repacked. Through no fault of etrailer, Usps sent my package all over the Midwest before arriving in a timely manner. I was able to purchase some at a local retail shop. I will have these for next time they need repacking.

Great service from etrailer helping me get the correct seal for my old trailer.

by:

Last week I started thinking about my kayak trailer and what repairs needed to be completed before the spring and summer usage.

In 2011 I converted a small sailboat trailer to a two place kayak trailer. I ordered bearing kits wheels and tires at that time from e trailer. Every year I pull the wheels and grease the bearings and I install new grease seals. Last year when I was doing my maintenance I found that the bearing races were lightly rusted and pitted because the trailer was buried under a large snowfall. The bearings were fine and I cleaned up the races with steel wool. I decided I would replace everything come winter. I ordered bearing caps to replace my old dented caps hoping that this will keep the bearings dryer. I made a place in the garage to keep the trailer from the weather.

I placed a call to you guys and was greeted by a very friendly voice on the other end of the phone. Brandon was able to find my past order saving me time and effort. (My filing system could be better.) He was able to e-mail me copies of my previous orders and shortly there after I placed my order on line for new bearing kits and a few extra seals and well you know the rest. I tell everyone about the excellent service I get from etrailer.com.

keep up the good work.

Its very nice that you would follow up. The products I purchased performed perfectly. I am only able to purchase the double lip seals through you. I cannot find them localy. Thank you for selling a superior product.

by:

Prompt delivery. My 1966 Alloy tandem boat trailer used National seals like these with spring tension around the axle lip. I've been looking for replacements for over 40 years! Most seals are designed to keep grease in, but these are better at keeping water out. Love them.

by:

Grease seals as described

by:

Very low price, but look like they will perform fine. I was having trouble finding this seal local. Your web site had the dimensional information I needed when I did not have a part number. "This Old Trailer" has a ways to go and it looks like you have the replacement lights I will need.

Trailer repair complete but has not been used.

by:

These are good and cheap. Work well for a year and then I replace them. Not sure I would keep them on longer than that bc of water intrusion.

by:

Service a trailer is always excellent

by:

Josh helped me with my order at 5:00pm Friday afternoon. Part arrived 3 days later. Installation and testing complete. I'm all set now.

Thanks Josh!

All good. No grease leaks from the wheel hub. Fit seems to be perfect.

Best customer service anywhere hands do wn!

by:

Looks like the right seals

by:

these seals worked great. I used them during a rebuild of a trailer used to haul a sailboat. The seals installed perfectly and have held up good during this past year.

by:

etrailer web site worked great for finding the correct idler hubs for my 1997 snowmobile trailer. The hubs had an unusual seal size so I had to mix and match a little to get the correct sizes. Everything went together as expected and it is now ready for the road again.

Great service AGAIN>

by:

As advertised. Smooth transaction. Well packaged. Thanks!

by:

Received my parts on time, good price, good quality and excellent customer service.

by:

Just repacked bearings with new seals on my 4' x 8' folding utility trailer. Customer service was great in helping me with selecting the right parts including cotter pins. All is good now. I have been ordering from etrailer for 10 + years. Great place with great people!

Great, NO leaks

by:

I ordered 2 hubs with bearing and seal kit. Box came in damaged and a seal was damaged pretty bad. It had no wadding in box at all. I called back and the lady told me that they didn’t have any of those seals in stock and that it would be 2-3 weeks to get one to me.she was nice about it. I asked if they could open a package like the one they sent me and send me the seal out of it because I can’t wait that long and when the seal comes in, replace it in the package they removed it from. She replied they don’t usually do that. She did tell me if I found one locally, she would credit me the money for the seal (It wasn’t worth the hassle for a 2 dollar seal). This was not a special seal. Just a 2000 pound utility trailer. I would think someone who specializes in trailer parts would keep at least 4 of these in stock. Hubs, bearings, was great! Packing was bad, service was not the greatest.

by:

Double lip seal was used on my Jet Ski Trailer hubs. I feel confident they will keep the grease in and the water and dirt out. Easy to install and a perfect fit.

by:

Hub and all parts were there as described on the add accept the seal had been damaged in shipping. Upon delivery etrailer Was already asking me if the order was ok . So then I returned email to them with a photo of the damaged seal and they promptly popped one out to me in the post and in just a couple of days the hub was together and ready for use . Great customer service and products.

by:

Everything fit and works well

by:

I bought these for my Harbor Freight pull behind trailer for my motorcycle. They arrived fast and are far superior to the OEM seals that the trailer used.

by:

The seal fit perfectly.

by:

The seals are good quality and do the job we need them to do.

by:

Incredibly fast! I am very happy with you guys. I tried an order from another company and the experience was not as good. I have ordered trailer parts for 10 plus years from you and never had an issue at all. My business will stay with you. When I want to go fishing i need to find parts fast and see them delivered promptly. Thank you for the best service I can find.

  • Choosing a Replacement Grease Seal for a 2,900 lb Trailer Axle
Thank you for the information and the photo! For your application I recommend checking out this double lip grease seal # 34823 which is standard for 1" BT8 spindles, and the seal has a 1.249" ID and 1.983" OD. Your 2,900 lb weight capacity is definitely unique so I can't say for sure whether this will match or not, but you can measure your spindle where the grease seal rides as well as the opening of your hub where the seal fits to see if these dimensions match. If these specs don't...

  • How to Measure to Find Correct Grease Seal for Hub With Inner Bearing L44649 & Outer Bearing L44643
I was unable to locate any hub with those numbers, so in order to find the correct grease seal, what you'll need to do is measure. To get the measurement, use digital caliper and measure your spindle to the thousandths of an inch where the grease seal rides like in the accompanying photo. For a hub with inner bearing # L44649 and outer bearing # L44643 and a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, you will likely need the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub for 2,000-lb and 2,200-lb Axles # 8-259-50. • Recommended Grease Seals For A 1994 Coleman Fleetwood Four Seasons Yosemite Pop Up Camper
With your 1994 Coleman Fleetwood Four Seasons Yosemite having 10" wheels and looking to weight 1,850 pounds, from what I could find out, you will have either a 2,000 pound axle, or a 2,200 pound axle. This will mean you either have a spindle that uses the # L44649 bearings, or the # L44643 bearings. With that said, the correct seal will depend on which bearings you use, but there will only be 2 options so it's easy to choose from. I have the 2 options listed below: For # L44649 Bearings: TruRyde...

  • Replacement Hubs for Aluma 8610T Snowmobile Trailer.
It looks like the Aluma 8610t snowmobile trailer has 12" wheels with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern, so that will help us get to the correct replacement hubs. But we will also need to determine the bearings on your current hub, which you'll have to remove the hubs and pull the bearings to find this information. Your bearings, races and grease seal will most likely have numbers stamped on the backs of them to help identify them, but if there are no stamps present you'll need to measure them using...

  • How to Identify Replacement Trailer Bearings and Seals
Replacement bearings and grease seals can best be selected by using the part numbers on the original parts. The usual appearance of those part numbers is shown in the linked photo. You can search our site directly using those part numbers. Sometimes foreign-made bargain trailers use unusual bearings and seals, or parts that do not bear a reference number. In such cases you'll need to measure your spindle surfaces and hub bore using a digital caliper like # PTW80157 to get their dimensions....

The Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb E-Z Lube Axles # AKIHUB-545-2-G-EZ-2K you were looking at will fit as it uses inner and outer bearing # L44649 to match your spindle, but you will need to replace the included grease seal with the # 34823 to match your spindle. The bearing kit that includes these seals and the # L44643 bearings would then be part # BK1-100. It's definitely worth revisiting your seal measurements to make sure but I'm confident these will be a fit for you. The spindles you have on your boat trailer are not standard which means we do not have a trailer hub with the correct bearings and seals you need.
