This brake wench was used to replace a wench on a 20 year old Tide Tamer Swinger Dinghy Lift in our marina. We have 2 lifts and just replaced both wenches that came from etrailer. These wenches were exact replacements of the orginal wenches.
Product is as described . I will be using two of these to adjust a floating dock. Made well,work well. The team at etrailer.com delivered them on time, I would recommend them

The winch is used to load and unload a Civil War cannon from a trailer. It allows total control both up and down with no fear of it "getting away from you." I at first thought the operation might be complicated, but it is simple to use and it freewheels easily. Completely satisfactory.
Exact replacement winch for "Swinger" brand dinghy lift. A year later still working like new.
