Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

I have ordered 2 or 3 times from etrailer. The service and order process time has always been great. Ordered this tire and wheel combo and got it in two days.
At first I was very impressed, the wheel matched my other 4 wheels perfectly and it seemed like the whole tire and wheel system was heavier than the factory stuff. The wheel still matches and its fine, but the tire was the same as every other load range D tire I've bought for this trailer. I've moved to E's in all 5 places.

Truly easy and great experience
I ordered this tire as a spare for my 5th wheeler. It has the modular rim and a Loadstar tire mounted and came filled with 65 psi. It shipped the next day and I received it in Buffalo 3 days later. Very pleased with the delivery! The DOT on the tire was the 51st week of 2010, again very pleased that I didn't get a tire that was more than a year old from the DOT. I can only add that my 5th wheeler tires are Loadstar (same as this, D rated, 5 ply and all) and had over 25k miles on them before the DOT wore out at the 6 year mark. My trailer weighs 9k and so I will say I am very please with the reliability of Loadstar tires.

Review based on delivery and condition/appearance of product upon receipt. Ordered as a spare and have not nor hope not to have to use it. Ordered Sun online with free promotional shipping. Shipping upgraded via email notification on Monday. Tire arrived on Wed. new tire/rim inflated to 65psi well packaged with no dings/dents from shipping. Tire DOT info correlates to manufactured in 2nd week of 2014, better than I expected. Basically with the free shipping, could get this delivered to me direct and ready to mount for cheaper than any local shop could do it out the door. Thanks ETrailer.com!
Both stems leaked around the 10 month time frame. They failed within 2 weeks of each other. I had to have the local tire shop repair each of them. This is not what I expect for quality. I would not purchase again or recommend.
Looks like it will do what we need. I have a horse trailer that the old rim got bent and cracked the tire. I originally ordered a different one from eTrailer and they emailed saying this one was in stock now and asked if I wanted to change my order. Great service from etrailer on that one.
Awesome service. Les Schwab was $336 tire and wheel. E trailer was way cheaper. I jacked up the trailer today and it for perfectly. The situation in the US is insane inflation. This purchase saved me at least $130 dollars. I will use them again.
Customer service was great - order placed Wednesday night, and arrived by noon on Friday to my front door. Packaged well, everything I expected. I had to go put the tire on right away just to see if everything fit as I thought it would. I am rebuilding an older flatbed trailer, that still had 30 year old bald tires on split rims - can't be happier to get rid of them, and into some new reliable rubber. I will be shopping for more at etrailer in the future for sure.

The tire and wheel from e-trailer went right on the 10000GVW Pace.We then made a trip From Kansas to Alaska and back.Drove the AlCan highway as well as Top of The World highway.At least 15000 miles with no trouble with this tire and wheel.
