Will Trailer Tire With Higher load Rating Last Longer

Question:

I have a 5th Wheel, fully loaded about 10k pounds, I also pull a 4k pound boat behind it with about a 400 pound tongue weight, I have ST225/75R15 I run them at 65 PSI, they are over 5 years old now and are wearing would like to replace them. My thought is to run Load E so I can run higher PSI, is that the right thought, I want the best tires I can get for the 5th wheel, I have a Courage LIte, 27SAB model

Going to a tire with a higher rated load range will mean you will need a higher psi rating. The problem with going to a higher rated tire is that it may result in a stiffer ride.

For example, a Load Range E tire like part # TR225LRE is rated for a maximum load of 2,830 lbs at 80 psi. A load Range C like part # AM10251 is rated at 2,150 lbs at 50 psi and a Load Range D tire like part # TTWTRTM2257515D is rated at 2,540 lbs at 65 psi.

I have attached a link to a helpful article about tires you can check out.
