Recommended 8 Ply Rated Tire For 2012 Keystone Cougar With 10,000 lb GVWR
Question:
I have a 2012 keystone cougar weight is 10,000 pounds. What ply tire should I buy. It only has 2 ply on it now

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2012 Keystone Cougar, with that weight rating, I recommend a 6 or 8 ply tire. From what I can find online without the specific model, it looks like you have 15-inch wheels. If that is the case, I recommend the Provider ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D # TTWTRTM2257515D. These tires have an 8-ply rating and a load capacity rating of 2,540 lbs at 65 psi. They also are rated for up to 81 mph. This will be great tires for a tandem axle trailer with GVWR of 10,000 lbs.
