I haven’t tried to install it yet, but it looks like the right one and it got here when you said it would. Thank you.

by:

The waste valve with the sewer wye is almost identical to the one I am replacing on our 1991 Coachmen. That made it so much easier for me to remove the old and put on the new valves. They are working great. Also quick response from etrailer, shipped it out quickly, and delivered in just a few days.

  • What is Difference Between Double Waste Valves # TR38, # TR38A, and # TR38B
The difference between the part numbers you mentioned of # TR38, # TR38A and # TR38B comes down to the difference between spigots and hubs in terms of how these valves install. So hubs fit OVER a pipe and spigots fit INTO a pipe. So the part # TR38A has a 3 inch spigot and a 1-1/2 inch hub # TR38 has a hub for both fitting sizes # TR38B has a 3 inch spigot and a 1-1/2 inch hub.

  • Could Double RV Waste Valves # TR38A Fit 1992 Hyline 28ft Camper
We don't have a way to look up what your 1992 Hyline camper would have on it but the Double RV Waste Valves # TR38A most likely does work for you. What you'll need to check is how your current valve setup fits the pipes of your RV. If the 3 inch valve side slips into the 3 inch pipe of the RV and the 1-1/2 inch side fits over this is exactly what you'll need.

  • Which RV Double Waste Valve Is Needed for a 2018 Winnebago Minnie Winnie 2108DS
I have a solution for you, but we don't have access to information that tells us exactly what pipes are found on particular coaches. The # TR38A has a spigot for the black water pipe and a hub for the grey water pipe, so if your coach has those fittings then this would be the correct valve for your 2018 Minnie Winnie 2108ds. You will need to remove the current valves to determine which fittings are on your grey and black water pipes, but for reference- hubs on the valves slide OVER your...

  • Replacement Sewer Wye That Fits A 3 Spigot And A 1-1/2 Hub
I took a look at the Waste Master RV Sewer Hose w/ Camlock Fittings, Nozzle, and Endcap # LC360781, which is no longer unavailable from the manufacturer, and I was able to find what I believe to be what you're after: -Double RV Waste Valves # TR38A. This wye features a 3" spigot that will slide over your black water line, as well as a 1-1/2" hub that will slide over your gray-water connection. To complete installation, you'll also need to use some Valterra ABS Solvent Cement # A05-0303...

  • Differences Between Three Valterra Double RV Waste Valves
The difference between the three valves are their fittings. The hubs on the valves slide over your RV's water lines while the spigots on the valves slide into the water lines. • Dual Sewer Valve Replacement for 1997 Hornet by Damon RV
Based on the picture you sent in you'd need a sewer tee and not a wye since the angle of the two pipes is 90 degrees relative to each other in your picture. For that we have the part # T18A which would match the orientation of your pipes. I attached an install picture that shows it installed on a similar setup.

  • Replacement Dual Waste Valve for Coachman Freedom Express
Dual waste valves, such as the Valterra # TR38A, are nearly generic by nature. This one has the standard 1-1/2" gray water gate and standard 3" gate, and has a "Y" shape. You should also look at the Bristol # 34466ND13AAR Double Waste Valve that has more of a "T" shape, or the Valterra # T38. Compare what you have on your Freedom Express to these and one should be a match. Many of these connections will have been factory installed with solvent cement an will have to be cut off. • Differences Between Valterra Double RV Waste Valve Models
The difference between these models is the connection points for the black and gray water pipes. A hub will fit over a pipe while a spigot will fit inside of a pipe. You'll just need to choose the correct connection type for your current piping. The # TR38 is a 3" Hub and 1-1/2" Hub. The # TR38A is a 3" Spigot and 1-1/2" Hub. The # TR38B is a 3" Spigot and 1-1/2" Spigot. The # T38C is a 3" Hub and 1-1/2" Spigot.

  • Double RV Waste Valves for Gray and Black Water Valve
Thanks for the photo and based on that we do have a replacement that will work for you although you are going to need to know what your gray water pipe and black water pipe connections are - either spigot or hub - which I'll explain but you are going to need to remove your valve to find this out. Basically, hubs on the valves slide OVER your RV's water lines while the spigots on the valves slide INTO the water lines. When you take off your current valve, pay attention to if it slides into...

  • Replacement RV Waste Valve Setup for Gray 1-1/2" Diameter Outlet
All of our sewer hoses are designed to connect to the larger 3" opening since this is the standard. Normally what you'll see is something like the Dometic Double Waste Valve Setup # TR38A which has the gray tank connecting to the black tank opening, and they are just separated by the different-sized valves. If you're talking about a 1-1/2" replacement waste valve then we do carry those as well, which you can filter through in the linked selection. If you are looking for something a little...

  • Differences between Valterra Sewer Wye # TR38, TR38A and TR38B
The difference between all three of the part numbers is the difference between a "hub" and a "spigot." The hubs fit over the spigots so it's basically the style of fitting you need. The part # TR38 has a hub and a hub for bot the 3 inch side and the 1-1/2 inch side opening. The part # TR38B has a 3 inch spigot and a 1-1/2 inch spigot. The part # TR38A has a 3 inch spigot and a 1-1/2 inch hub.

I would be happy to recommend a replacement waste valve for you, but unfortunately we do not have a break down of which style waste valve is used on a specific RV. • How to Choose Correct Valterra Double RV Waste Valves Replacement
You should be able to tell which Valterra Double RV Waste Valves you need by inspecting your current connection points. The one end with the lugs on it is the same on all 3 parts so you simply need to determine if you need hubs, spigots, or a combination of both. • Replacement Waste Valve And Fresh Water Pump For A 2012 Forest River Sport Surveyor
Hello Sandy thanks for the picture. The valve in your picture appears to be a double waste valve like the Valterra Motorhome San Tee # T18A. This valve uses a 3" spigot with a 1-1/2" hub off to the side, both of which are the standard valve sizes. You could always measure the current valve to confirm this, but based on what I can see in your picture, the # T18A will be exactly what you need. As far as a fresh water pump, they are all fairly universal, it really comes down to your requirements,...

Let me know what you have and I'd be happy to confirm the correct replacement.
