Hey everybody, Jared at etrailer.com. Today, I'm gonna take a look at the Steele rubber products press in slide out seal, two inch width by 15 foot length. Now, this is used to prevent water from leaking onto and pests from gaining access to the slide out of your RV. It replaces a seal originally used on cable operated slide-out systems and those are commonly found on Forest River and Keystone brand RVs. The wiper seal flexes in or out depending upon how this flight is moving and it's easy to install, by simply pressing on to an existing track located on the RV frame surrounding the slide out. Now, you can use a mallet or a trucking tool and that may aid you in your installation and that, of course, is sold separately.
You can use scissors to trim off the extra seal if you have any. It is constructed of an EPDM rubber that will not shrink, crack, or fade over time and if we consider those dimensions it is that 15 foot length by two inch width and the section here that presses onto the track is three quarters of an inch. The rubber seal is highly wear and weather resistant and it is resistant to UV exposure. It is made in the USA, a standard of quality you know and trust. Well, I think that'll do it and that's a look at our Steele rubber products press in slide-out seal.

The bulbed blade helps grab the slide walls, so it folds out properly.Seals upgraded design is thicker than original and these will last much longer than 2 years very pleased on the product and Farley easy installation just added a bit of dawn dish detergent to the seal and the rest is history thank you e trailer for carrying excellent quality items.

Better then original equipment from forest river as usual quick shipping and receiving from E trailer they are the best place to get stuff. Super easy to install pulled the old one out of the track and put that one in super easy
Much better than original "L" shaped factory installed slide wiper seals that didn't even last 2 years. Had tried three of the cheaper ones available on Amz, but the insertion leg was much smaller than the originals even though the dimensions Amz showed were no where close to what was delivered. Don't waste your time. These inserted well, took some time, but confident these will last. Wiped them with seal conditioner before I installed which did ease the insertion some.
The rubber slide out seals were much better quality than the originals that had worn out. Installation was relatively easy. I plan to order more to replace other seals in my trailer that are showing their age.
This wiperseal did not work on my RV had to return it
Good fit but too thick which makes slide work harder moving in/out.
Added a light coat of lube and was able able to push and tap the seal into place. Enough for both ends of my slide out.
Much better than original wiper seal. Can feel the difference right out of the box. Not installed yet, but can tell it won’t be susceptible to same failure as factory installed.
Looks to be the exact replacement. I have not had time to install it yet. Excellent shipping as usual. Thanks etrailer.
