This EZ-Lube kit works great and still does 1 year later.

Website is easy to use and product information is very detailed. I easily found a complete wheel bearing rebuild kit for my Escort boat trailer with EZ Lube Axles. Parts arrived on time and the staff are there to help. Will definitely be back! Thanks etrailer!

by:

Part showed up well and are easy to order really wish that bearings weren't loose shipped in a bag with lug nuts reason for only three stars

by:

Installed on my boat trailer about year ago. Use it in salt water 100% of the time. Had no issue thus far.

by:

Great customer service experience, exactly the parts I needed and fast reliable shipping

by:

Everything arrived as ordered. Fit my 1992 Champion 190DCR trailer perfectly.

by:

Everything came on time, fit properly, and worked perfectly!

by:

Hub caps did not fit the Kodiak hubs etrailer sent with the same order, just slightly too big. Had to use my old ones with the new bearings (which all worked as advertised)

Sorry to hear that you received the wrong size caps. Customer Service will be reaching out about this.

by:

Items were loosely packaged in box and clanking around. Only piece of paper in large box to protect the bearings/races/seals. Would have expected them to at least be wrapped in tape or plastic to prevent potential damage. Parts seem to be ok visually so we’ll see..

by:

All the parts I ordered were correct and of good quality. The customer service was outstanding!! I spent probably 30 minutes on the phone with Danielle as we tried to figure out exactly what axle was on my trailer ( wasn’t what it was supposed to be ). The parts showed up in a pretty reasonable amount of time considering the pandemic was in full swing. The prices also were very reasonable, as she searched her inventory for the best price, found a package deal for me with more than I was looking for at less cost than buying the parts individually. I will use them again for sure and definitely recommend them to anyone needing trailer parts.

by:

The bearing set and seals were exactly as ordered and exactly what I needed.

The bearings worked perfect and continue to work just as one would expect.

by:

Great set of brgs, races, seals and caps. It's all there. Arrived on time. Wish they were made in USA rather than China. Using as emergency spares so would buy again for that purpose.

by:

This is the absolute BEST place for all your trailer needs. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable.

by:

Seals are good quality. Bearings should be packed separately. They were thrown in the bag with all the other hardware. Nuts seem like standard quality.

by:

Easy lube cap didn’t go on very well ended up using the old bearing buddy’s

by:

This is a GREAT replacement bearing kit at a very affordable price. I'm glad I noticed the races are NOT included before I started refurbing my drums. Luckily my old races were in great shape and everything went back together as it should.

by:

Parts were correct for my trailer, easy ordering and prompt delivery.

by:

Great company with great service and parts. Thank you.

by:

They were returned

by:

I really appreciate the quick delivery. The parts were sitting on my porch 4 days after ordering and traveling half way across the country. Thank you.

  • Correct Disc Brakes for a Karavan Boat Trailer UST-5000-TB-78-10
In order to upgrade to disc brakes on a Karavan Boat Trailer (UST-5000-TB-78-10) you'll want to use the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit part # K2HR35D which comes with everything you need besides the Bearing Kit part # DBRKHW35EZ and a new surge brake actuator rated for use with disc brakes like the DDexter DX7.5 Drop-N-Go Brake Actuator part # 099-175-20. I have attached a full list of options below.

  • Will Using Separate Hub/Rotor Push the Wheels Out Further Compared to Combined Hub/Rotor 3,500 Axle
It is possible for the wheel to be pushed out further when using a separate hub and rotor as opposed to an integrated hub and rotor but there are a few factors at play so I do recommend matching the front and rear axle in regards to the type of hub. For a 3,500 lb axle you'll use part # K2R35D or part # K2HR35DKG for combined which also requires part # DBRKHW35EZ.

  • Should Trailer Hub Grease Seals Be Driven Flush With Hub Bore
Grease seals such as those included with the # DBRKHW35EZ bearing kit should be be installed so that they are flush with the hub bore. If the correct seal is used, everything should fit together perfectly. As long as the castle nut is correctly ran down, everything should be held together well so there should be no lateral movement of the bearing. Running the castle nut isn't an intuitive process. It needs to be snug enough so that the inner and outer bearings hare held into place correctly...

  • Correct Replacement Disc Brakes for Venture Boat Aluminum Bunk Trailer VATB-5225
The Kodiak Disc Brake Kit part # K2R35DKG I am able to confirm will fit your Venture Boat Aluminum Bunk Trailer VATB-5225 based on the old part numbers provided. That said, for slightly more money you can upgrade to the much more seamless hub/rotor design in the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit part # K2HR35D. Either way, I'd replace the bearings if they are due using the Bearing Kit for Trailer Brakes part # DBRKHW35 and part # DBRKHW35EZ.

  • Compatibility of EZ Lube Grease Caps on Standard Axle
The Bearing Kit for Trailer Brakes w/ 8" or 10" Hub/Rotor - EZ-Lube - 3,500 lbs # DBRKHW35EZ is safe to use on standard axles and the double lip seal will also seal well on that axle. There is no need to get a standard grease cap as the function will be the same in keeping debris out and grease in.

  • How To Tighten Spindle Nut on EZ-Lube Spindle
Instead of a castle nut and a cotter pin, your Ez-Lube spindle used a D-washer and a nut retainer. After the bearings are repacked and the grease seal is in place, working the hub gently into place until it seats fully. Install the D-washer then the nut. Snug the nut down a little at a time as you rock the hub back and forth making sure it's seated. Run the nut down just past finger tight but not so tight it doesn't spin freely. Then install the nut retainer then the wheel. I've linked...

  • Will K2HR35DS replace UFP DB-42
The Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 10" Hub/Rotor # K2HR35DS may fit your UFP DB-42 kit as a replacement. I cannot confirm without the size and dimensions of the axle and spindle. If your spindle has an inner bearing diameter of 1.378 inches and outer bearing of 1.063 inches it will work You will also need a set of seals for the new hubs. The seals that will fit this hub is # 58846. If you decide to go with this set of hubs I recommend picking up # DBRKHW35EZ. This kit comes with new bearings,...

  • Bearing Kit with Dust Cap that Fits Lippert 3,500 lb Trailer Axle
Since you have 3,500 lb trailer axles from Lippert the correct bearing kit is the part # BK2-100. This comes with bearings, races, and a seal for each hub plus a cotter pin and tang washer. Or we have the part # DBRKHW35EZ which comes with the correct bearings, seals, lug nuts, and dust covers for both sides of a 3,500 lb axle like you have. If you don't need the races or cotter pins (you probably don't) this would be the way to go.

This kit use 8" rotors allowing you to fit a Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire with 10" Galvanized Wheel # AM3H490. You will need either the EZ Lube # DBRKHW35EZ or Standard # DBRKHW35 Bearing Kit to mount the included hubs on your spindle.
