Will the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit K2HR35DS Fit My Trailer
Question:
Hello, I have an older type king trailer KBT 3600 B1 and I need new hubs with rotors and calipers plus a brake actuator. I am looking at buying two kits K2HR35DS the trailer is a twin axle type I want to reuse the brake spindles but I need to verify that the brake kit I was trying to upload a picture but it did not work I can send it in an e-mail. Can you please advise if the ed kit will work for my trailer? Thanks,

The Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2HR35DS is designed to be used with a #84 spindle. These use the Inner bearing # L68149 that has an inner diameter of 1.375 inches, and the Outer Bearing # L44649 that has an inner diameter of 1.063 inches. The caliper brackets will fit a standard 4 bolt mounting flange that would measure 2 7/8 inches from center to center of the mounting holes right next to each other. You could also measure diagonally from center to center and get 4 inches. If your spindles and mounting plates match these, it will definitely fit your axle.
It should be noted that this kit does not include the bearings or seals, so you will also need the bearing kit # DBRKHW35EZ if you were going to be replacing the bearings.
The actuator will depend on which style you are needing. If you need an electric over hydraulic system, the Dexter DX Series # K71-651 would be a highly recommended option. If you are needing a surge style actuator, the Demco 2 Inch Actuator # DM62VR would be a good option as well
