Today we're going to be taking a look at the Bulldog Detachable Foot Plate. This foot plate attaches and detaches quickly and easily. It does come with the included pin. This foot plate is going to help spread out the weight applied to the base of your jack. This is going to help increase overall stability and it's going to help to prevent sinking on softer services. It's made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a nice rust and corrosion resistant finish so it's going to last a long time.
This is designed to fit a 2-inch diameter inner tube on your jack. We can tell that by taking a measurement from inside edge to inside edge. You can see that's right at 2-inches. The foot plate is going to give us an overall length measurement of 7 and 1/2 inches. It's going to give us a width measurement of 3 and 3/4's of an inch.
The pin hole diameter is going to measure 3/8's of an inch and the actual diameter of the pin is going to measure 5/16's of an inch. Another measurement I want to give you is, I took a measurement from the inside, right here at the bottom of the tube to the center of the pin hole, and when I did that, I got a measurement of 1 and 1/16th of an inch so we could do that from this way as well so you can see that from the bottom of that surface to the center of the pinhole, we're looking at about 1 and 1/16th of an inch. The height of the tube is going to measure right around 2 inches. This is going to have a capacity of 2,000 to 5,000 pounds. Very simple installation. I do want to go ahead and show you how it installs on a jack. I have a Bulldog Jack here today that has a 2-inch inner tube right here, so this just goes directly into the foot plate, line up your pin holes, and then secure it onto the jack by installing the included pin.

Includes the attachment pin.I was having issues with my RV front jack and every time I would jack it up it would either get stuck on up position or down position and you could hear where the gears were stripped.So I purchased the Bull Dog Item # BD1700100317 as well as the BD018564 as the footplate. I received the item within 3 days of order,open the boxed and installed in less than 5mins.One of the easiest products I have ever installed.I worked the trailer jack up and down with no problems and good amount of extend.Thanks guys for making my camping trips easier..Picture attached of old jack and new one in place.

Was facing towards my tailgate of my truck.Although there were no instructions included I was able to remove the cover then the pin holding the gear in place and move the handle to the opposite side. Avoiding the dreaded tailgate "PING" every truck owner fears. Great pricing.

If there was chock system for plates like the wheels have I would give higher rating, placing on board was VERY SLIPPERY, fortunately I had placed the chocks before the trailer moved much as I unhooked. On the plus side it allows full retraction to the A frame much safer. I will now get a wheel for safety parking it.
The product worked perfectly, after I straightened out some imperfections in my a-frame hitch situation. My utility trailer had seen some unfortunate treatment before I bought it, but now your jack has brought it back to usefullness. Thanks.

While it has only been a year since I purchased the jack stand and only used it a few times everything seems to be working as advertised, to this point. Received the items very quickly after ordering and installation was very easy.

The parts have held up well, with proper care. Our use is around salt water, typically parts can get abused by nature. Theyve performed well.
Very good product I ordered the jack Saturday night and it was here on Wednesday.
The foot and pin work well with the 5000 pound jack that I purchased also. The two products came together in one package. Both products were in good condition when I received them. The shipment came to me in less time than I expected so I was very pleased with this also.

Perfect
Foot plate fit and is well made. It earns the "Bulldog" name. Trailer seems safer with the foot on my leveling block and there is better protection of the open end of the trailer jack.
Most of the tracks I visit with my rig require a buffer between the jack and the paddock surface. This 'sled' makes for an easy resting point that won't damage the asphalt/blacktop/cement.
I ended up drilling several (2) 1/8 inch drain holes along the narrow end lip to get rid of any trapped water that was starting to discolor the sled.
In addition to this support plate, I ordered a Bulldog Jack and a foot plate. During my prepurchase research, completely frustrated at the lack of detailed product information available on most sites, I finely landed on etrailer.com. I found all the information I was looking for, and the pricing was the best I had found, and e trailer offered free shipping. I placed the order and recived a follow up thank you email. The following day I received an update of the shipping status along with a tracking number. I recived my package within a week via 3-day shipping. The care given to packaging was amazing they could have sent fine China in the packaging.
I love this place and will order from here again.

Boat season is upon us in the northeast and I needed a new trailer jack which the week before I had received from etrailer. I'd forgotten to include the wheel and foot plate in my first order,so I made out a second order in the evening. Next day I had an email from George at etrailer letting me that one of my items was out of stock and wouldn't be available till the end of May. SOMEHOW he knew that boat owners were crazy people who HATED to miss any time on the water! He notified me ON HIS OWN, offering a replacement part number and the order went right out. Who does that anymore ? etrailer's philosophy still values old school caring about their customers! Couldn't ask for more and oh by the way, ALL the parts were PERFECT for my project.
It's sturdy. I unintentionally moved the trailer with the Jack down(on soil) about 5 to 6 feet before I realized it. Foot plate was unaffected. Quality product, would recommend, especially from etrailer!
It has been over 1 year that I have my bulldog trailer jack and it still works great. I'm very pleased with etrailer, they always have everything that I need!
Great product but should be drilled with mounting holes in two directions.
