Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the Phoenix USA 12-inch diameter stainless steel baby moon hubcap. This is for a quantity of one hubcap. Now, the baby moon-style hub cap gives your RV, your truck, or your trailer wheel a nice unique retro look appearance. It is designed to snap onto a 16-inch conventional-style wheel.
And when I talk about a conventional-style wheel, I wanted to pull one just so you know what we're talking about.This is what a conventional-style wheel would look like. This one has the center ring here with the three nubs on it that'll hold the baby moon in place. This will also work on trucks and vans that use the dog dish style center caps. Now this baby moon hubcap is a polished stainless steel construction. It resists rust and corrosion.
And like I've mentioned, it is a simple snap on installation. All you have to do is it snaps in place over that center ring. Uses those three raised hubs I mentioned. Right here they have a little edge to them and that is what'll hold the cap in place. So when you go to install this, you put it right over those, and then on the last one, you just push it all the way down and it'll snap in place and hold it in place for you.
This is a very easy installation.Now the specs on this again, this one here is designed to fit a 16-inch size conventional wheel, and it fits the bolt pattern either six on five and a half or eight on six and a half. Now these baby moon hubcaps are offered in different diameters to fit different size wheels. What I would recommend is to check out our website. It'll list the many different sizes that are available and the wheel diameters and bolt patterns that they fit on.I want to zoom in on this as we do our measurements here, but if we measure the overall diameter outside the outside on this cap. It's going to be right at 12 inches.
The inner diameter inside the inside, it's going to be right at 11 and 11 sixteenths of an inch. And then the height of it is going to be right at three inches tall. And this is for a quantity of one hubcap.But that should do it for the review on the Phoenix USA 12-inch diameter stainless steel baby moon hubcap.

Painless ordering and quick delivery (less than 2 weeks), was great...considering I live on an island, on the pacific coast of Canada! on receiving the box of 4 Baby Moons, 3 were wrapped in , bubble wrap, and were in as expected new condition. the 4th hubcap, however, was not wrapped and was laying loose/unprotected in the box, shinny side against the box, it got ruffed up somewhat, i will have to buff it out... the hubcaps fit my 1970 GMC 2500 like they should, and they look Good!.... overall pleased ...Thanks

I am so happy to see the hub caps that I purchased from etrailer!! I bought the Dexstar conventional steel wheels and wanted to dress them up with the baby moon hub caps. I popped them on and boy they sure do look nice!!! I'm very happy with my purchase.
Worked well on my 66 Chevy C20. Has 8 lug GM wheels. Worried that the caps wouldnt clear the Eaton HO52 rear hubs, but they cleared, and look great. Chrome isnt what id consider chrome, more like polished stainless. Not bad overall

Hello there, sorry some of these have fallen off! I suggest you use some silicone sealant to keep them in place. If this proves to be less than helpful you can rough up the inside and reseal it or snip it in a few places and bend the flare to give more tension.
