I'm really disappointed with the flimsy material and poor finish quality. At first I thought mine might have been defective, but if you zoom in on the product photos that are provided, you'll see that there's lots of flash and rough edges. Mine is a bit worse than the one in the list, but still I'm not going to permanently affix this to my $100,000 motorhome

by:

Nice clean look. Perfect fit.

by:

My new trailer came with a stove vent that exhausted to the inside of the trailer making it unbearable to cook inside in the hot sun of Florida. I modified the fume hood so it could vent through the wall the way it should have been in the 1st place. This plastic vent cover worked as good as any could be expected to do so and provided a neat appearance to finish off the modification. Reasonably priced to boot.

by:

They had exactly what I needed I plugged in my camper information and got the part I needed exactly! They notified me when it shipped, was delivered and gave me tracking information as well! I will shop with etrailer from now on!!

Color and function is great, I use this trailer for my work it goes all over still no problems

by:

We purchased this exterior Well Vent cover to replace our old one that was very yellow and brittle. It was a tiny bit smaller on the outside but the opening was an exact match. The screw holes were also in a different place so we had to drill new holes. All of the old holes were covered up by the new cover and it looks great. The hardest part of replacing this cover was getting the old one off and getting all the old caulk off.

by:

A great selection and remarkably respon ive

by:

it was exactly what I needed and I appreciate your great customer service the staff is always nice @ etrailer

by:

Just what we needed! Good price too!

by:

Quality product. Met my expectations.

by:

Massive improvement over my old vent cover, arctic white is WHITE.

Working as expected, no issues or problems

by:

Easy access and ordering procedure. My order actually arrived a day early. Product was in perfect condition. If I have a a need in the future I would order again from etrailer.

by:

I installed the stove range hood vent exit, and it fit perfectly and the flap still opens and closes as it should. The flap guard however went missing and my guess is a bear climbed on the deck and plucked it out. Not sure on the UV longevity of the product ...time will tell. Good product and would buy again.

The side vent is still good.

by:

Pretty lightweight! But maybe that is a good thing as it will be flexible and not prone to cracking? The locking tabs are also quite flimsy but the damper itself sits quite snug. Seems like it will solve leaking issues when going down the highway in rain.

by:

It is as described in the pictures and in the video but it appears kind of flimsy in overall construction and the latches in particular. Hopefully it'll hold up.

A year later, with infrequent use, the vent is holding up fine. Its been exposed to the elements and isnt showing signs of breaking down.

by:

Purchased to complement the interior black range hood also purchased from etrailer.
Looks like it came with the rig, tho one was never installed in my older 5th.

by:

Installed this last night and was very pleased with the quality and price. It was nice to be able to view the product on line and have the size and learn of the different types of vent applications.

Easy to install, works great. Was just what I I am well satisfied

by:

This is my fault since I assumed all trailer side vents are for a standard size opening. The vent I ordered was too small so I ended up selling it for half price on Kijiji. Return postage was equal to the value of the vent so that was not an option. The quality of the vent was very poor. It was cheaply made of poor plastic and would have easily broken after very little use. I was certainly disappointed in the quality of the item.

by:

Only 1 Problem or would give you a 110% PERFECT. That is those 2 little turn on/off, 1 either side. THAT is the only "ERROR". They brake off, always lets the little flopping problem all year, from spring to winter-warm>hot Air and wet spots of rain in or cold winter air all winter. Noisy, flap, flap, flap,so on, from just that one or both small piece breaking off. That is the ONLY problem. Sorry but you asked, that's it. GOD BLESS Sorry but we can't send you the picture of that little break-off. We are over 70,retired,disability and have no knowing about taking any pictures.Sorry but it is about 14" wide and about 3/4" long, VERY,VERY tiny clip connection.

by:

Perfect replacement for stove exhaust fan vent cover on my Arctic Fox. Great service from etrailer.

by:

This product is simply as advertised, it is high quality plastic. The only thing I would like to see is for it to ship with a rubber gasket and appropriate screws for mounting, to prevent leaking. This product will be used too vent a range hood in my open range 337 RLS trailer which did not come equipped with a vented hood. etrailer.com is a great resource for the do it yourself rv owners

by:

Thanks etailer for getting all our products so fast to us . Really appreciate the free shipping. We ordered a replacement roof vent with fan, great product, installed nicely. Couple weeks later realize our other vent was cracked, ordered another roof vent. My husband replace the first one, but I had to install the second one by myself due to him having back surgery. Was able to do in an hour, no problems, and it looks great. Sorry no pictures, I am scare of heights . Sherri-from NV

  • How to Determine the Correct Outside Range Hood Vent
When trying to find a replacement for your outside range hood vent the most important measurement is the opening where the exhaust ducting or outlet exits your RV. Each of the outside range hood vents we carry will fit a roughly 10-1/2" wide x 3-3/4" tall rough opening and will require 10 Screws # 31071 and Sealant # 0160297 to install. The Ventline Wall Vents # V2111-13 and # V2111-55 have a 1-3/4" collar, and # V2111-03 has a 5/8" collar.

  • Recommended RV Range Hood Vent with Locking Damper
The only range hood vents we offer are from Ventline, the Ventline Exterior Wall Vent for RV Range Hood part # V2111-13 for white or part # V2111-55 for black. These vents both have locking dampers so you can close them when not in use. That said, the locking mechanism is located on the outside of the vent and there is no way to operate them from inside the trailer. The vents are designed for a 10-1/2" wide x 3-3/4" tall rough opening. Please note, you will need screws part # 31071 and...

While we do not have any type of parts lists or database for every year, make and model of trailer because trailer manufacturers do not keep those type of records I can go over each of our exterior wall vents for you to compare and see what might work for you. Each of the exterior wall vents we carry for range hoods will fit 10-1/2" wide x 3-3/4" tall rough openings so please be sure that is the size of the opening you have in your trailer.
