Great product. Tire temperature and pressure is a top safety priority. Having this tire display, and alarm parameters really gives you one less thing to worry about when you’re on the road. And these days there are plenty of other driving hazards out there.

by:

Overall, very pleased with this product. Sensor blanks or freezes on one tire periodically, but comes back fairly quickly. Not perfect, but way better than having nothing to detect low pressure, which can be catastrophic.

by:

W ft irks great and no problems.

by:

Prompt and on time

See what our Experts say about this TST TPMS Sensor

  • Can TST TPMS Be Used With OEM GM Tire Pressure Sensors
Since the GM TPMS uses a proprietary software so you aren't going to be able to use another sensor with the program even if they operate on the same frequency. So, with that being said, your best option is to use a standalone system like the TST TPMS # TST34FR. This kit comes with it's own dash monitor, as well as 4 tire sensors.

  • Will the TST TPMS Sensors Work With a 42' RV
Yes, the TST TPMS - Color Display # TST34FR will work just fine with your 42' RV. These sensors will work up to 105 feet away from the monitor.

  • Recommended TPMS For A 2017 Subaru BRZ
You can absolutely install a TPMS on your 2017 Subaru BRZ. I recommend the TST TPMS # TST34FR. This uses internal sensors so once they are installed, you will not even know they are there. For a nicer car like yours, with tires that are more low profile, the internal sensors will definitely be the way to go. It comes with a color display with a suction cup mount which you can mount on the dash and monitor all 4 tires at once. You also can add additional sensors if that need ever arises....

  • Battery Replacement of TST TPMS
The TST TPMS, # TST34FR has a rather conservative battery life listing of 12 to 18 months with feedback indicating greater real world usage lifespan. But yes, when it is time to replace the battery, you will of course need to remove the tire.

  • Is the TST TPMS Compatible With Factory Ram Systems
While we have a great option in the TST TPMS with color display and 4 internal tire sensors, # TST34FR this is its own system. Like most aftermarket systems, the signals are not the same frequency as the OEM, that being stated, the TST option above however is one of the best on the market and a very cost effective option considering the data it provides. This TPMS doesn't simply monitor the tire pressure but the temperature as well and it detects blowouts, significant pressure changes,...

  • Are All Four Sensors Required With TST TPMS Internal Tire Sensor
Yes, you can use two of the sensors on one trailer and two on another with the TST TPMS, # TST34FR. You will need to have the TST TPMS Color Display and Signal Booster together but not all four sensors.

  • Will the Band Style TST TPMS Sensors Work with Factory GM TPMS for Trailers
I do have an option for you but the GM TPMS uses a proprietary software, you cannot use another sensor with the program even if they operate on the same frequency per TST. I do know of many others who have run into issues with GM not offering a solution for the larger 16"+ wheels. Therefore, your best option for these larger tires is a standalone system for which I recommend the TST TPMS part # TST34FR which comes with a color dash monitor and four sensors.

  • Is TST TPMS Internal Sensor Compatible With Internal Balancing Beads?
We have reached out to TST about this before, and there is not an issue using the internal TPMS sensors included in the TST TPMS # TST34FR you were looking at with the balancing beads in your tires. This is a great option to allow you to monitor the air pressure and heat build up in the tires of your vehicle or trailer, giving you added peace of mind while on road trips. I included a video of the # TST34FR for you to take a look at.

  • Internal Tire Pressure Monitoring System for a Pro-Touring Hotrod
We only have one style of internal tire pressure monitoring system. That is a sensor that screws onto a steel band that goes around the wheel. - TST TPMS - Color Display - Signal Booster - 4 Internal Tire Sensors # TST34FR This system lets you monitor your vehicle's tire pressure and temperature using the included monitor. The 4 Internal sensors check tire pressure and temperature every 12 seconds and detects blowouts, significant pressure changes, and tire temperatures exceeding 158 degrees.

  • Flow Through TPMS Sensors for Boat Trailer
The TST TPMS # TST-507-FT-4-C you looked at is going to be the best option for a flow through. These are waterproof so you can use them on your boat trailer without having to worry about them leaking. Assuming you keep them on tight and keep the caps on, corrosion shouldn't be much of a problem even with the brass construction. Still, I recommend rinsing them like you would other components with fresh water when you're done using your boat. The only option that for sure won't corrode is...

  • What Type of Battery Does the TST TPMS Internal Tire Sensors Use
The TST TPMS - Color Display - Signal Booster - 4 Internal Tire Sensors part # TST34FR does not use replaceable batteries. The batteries have an estimated life of up to 4 years. Once the batteries die, you'll need to replace the sensor using part # TST-507-INT-S1.

  • Aftermarket TPMS Sensors for Factory GM/Chevrolet TPMS for Trailers
We do have a solution for you but it does not work with the onboard GM factory installed TPMS as that uses a proprietary software. There is not an aftermarket solution that integrates with your system. However, we do have the TST TPMS, # TST34FR which comes with a color dash monitor and four sensors.

  • Recommended TMPS For Boat Trailer Being Used In Salt Water
I have another option for you, but the Tire Linc TPMS for RVs # LC37VR you were looking at is not rated for use in salt water. Instead I recommend the TST TPMS # TST34FR which gets installed inside of the tire so it will not be effected by salt water. Wiring the booster directly to the battery of your RV will not cause the boat battery to go dead when not in use, as the power draw is so minimal it will not be noticeable. I included a video of the # TST34FR for you to take a look at.

  • What is the Life Span of the Steel Band on the TST Internal Tire Sensors
I contacted the manufacturer in regards to the life span of the band on the Internal Tire Sensor # TST-507-INT-S1. They informed me that the band is made of stainless steel and if installed properly will outlast the life span of the battery which is 4-5 years. For a set that includes 4 internal sensors, the monitor and signal booster you can get the # TST34FR. For a valve stem option there is the # TST-507-RV-4-C.

  • Is The TST 507 TPMS Sensors A Good Choice For A Class A Motorhome
The TST TPMS for RVs # TST-507-RV-4-C that you have is a popular option, but I'm assuming you're worried about theft or them sticking out too far? These sensors require a special tool to remove to help prevent theft and are lightweight enough to be compatible with rubber valve stems as well as steel, chrome, or nickel. The TST TPMS # TST34FR you were looking at is also a great option because it will mount internally but is a bit of a pain to initial install since you'll have to remove...

  • Internal TPMS Sensor Option for a 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 with Aluminum Wheels
Hey Robert, thanks for reaching out! Since your Sprinter has aluminum wheels it wouldn't be a good idea to use a kit like the TST TPMS # TST34FR that uses the stainless steel bands as that would eventually cause galvanic corrosion. For your situation I recommend using the Tuson Towable Tire Pressure Monitoring System # 335TPMS4WIVS instead because the sensor is connected to the valve stem as opposed to wrapping around the wheel itself. With this setup you just have to make sure the brass...

That being said, we do offer some internal sensor style systems like the TST TPMS - Color Display - Signal Booster - 4 Internal Tire Sensors # TST34FR or 6-sensor kit # TST-507-INT-6-C. As long as you swap out the rubber valve stem on the Aluminum Viking Series Valhalla Trailer Wheel # TA75FR to the Metal Valve Stem # AM20906 and you don't exceed the 3,540 lb capacity of the wheel you'll be good to go. When it comes to the tire sensors my personal favorite is the TST TPMS # TST34FR because it features a color display for easier reading and internal tire sensors that not only look nicer, but since they are inside the tire you don't have to worry about them growing a pair...

  • Recommended TPMS Sensors For a Motorhome With Wheel Masters 4-Hose Inflation Kit # WM8001-135
With having the Wheel Masters 4-Hose Inflation Kit # WM8001-135 I recommend using a TPMS system like the TST with either 4 # TST34FR or 6 # TST-507-INT-6-C internal tire sensors. The internal sensors will provide a more accurate reading for the air pressure and temperature inside the tires. If you were to add a TPMS like the Kit # TST-507-RV-6-C with the inflation kit it will only give you an accurate pressure reading as the air temperature will be different in the extensions than in the tire.

  • Dexstar Conventional Steel Wheel # AM20514 Valve Stem Hole Diameter For TPMS Sensors
The Dexstar Conventional Steel Wheel # AM20514 has a 0.45" valve stem hole. Rather than using a TPMS that uses valve stem mounted sensors like the Tuson Towable Tire Pressure Monitoring System # 335TPMS4WIVS I recommend looking at sensors that will strap to the inside of the wheel like the TST TPMS # TST34FR. These sensors have the advantage of being able to mount deep inside the wheel center where they are better protected but will also not overly distort the wheel balance.

  • Recommended Valve Extender Options For A Class A Motorhome
Thanks for the pictures, I can see why you're concerned now. It looks like you have some 135 degree valve extenders that just aren't quite long enough to pass through the hand holes of the wheel cover. You could try using a longer 180 degree extender like part # WM8029180 to extend out pass the hole, but without physically testing it I can't say for sure that 180 degrees wouldn't end up rubbing against the edge of the hand hole. The other option would be to use a hand hole mounted extender...
