While on the road, it is very important to regularly maintain your tires and make sure they're inflated correctly. If your tires are underinflated or overinflated, they'll develop irregular tread wear and become prone to overheating and blowing out. The TireMinder A1AS TPMS helps protect your investment and keep your family safe by monitoring your tires and alerting you of any signs of danger before disaster strikes.
This TPMS includes 4 flow through sensors that let you individually monitor each tire on your application for changes in pressure and temperature. The flow through design allows you to inflate or deflate your tires without having to remove the sensors. These sensors are able to work on rubber, steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems. Every 6 seconds, they will check the pressure and temperature again, and use Bluetooth to send that information directly to the monitor or smartphone app.
Unlike most other systems, this TPMS lets you choose between using the monitor or an app on your smart device as the screen. The TireMinder TPMS 2.0 app is free to download and use. For Apple smartphones and devices, it's compatible with models iPhone 7 and iPad 7 and newer. Apple users can connect to Apple CarPlay to display the details of your tire on your car's dashboard. For Android smartphones, it's compatible with model Android 4.4 and newer. However, if you decided to use the app, you will still have to have the monitor in operation within 10 feet, as it is crucial for helping to bridge the Bluetooth transmission between the sensors and your phone.
The monitor or smartphone app will provide you with visual and audible cues to warn you of dangerous changes in tire pressure and tire temperature, as well as alert you of changes with the monitor battery, sensor battery, and sensor signal. Before you begin setup, make sure the monitor has been charged and the repeater and sensor batteries have been installed. If you have decided to use your smart device as the monitor, download the app and connect to Bluetooth.
Select your RV or trailer configuration or the locations of the tires you want to monitor. Then select one tire location, install a sensor on the corresponding tire on your RV or trailer, and the current PSI will automatically appear on the screen. With the purchase of additional sensors (TM66FR - sold separately), you can monitor up to 22 tires, which is perfect for a fleet. Sensors can be added, moved, deleted, or replaced at any point, even after initial installation.
You can set the tire pressure in psi, Bar, and KPa. If you choose psi, you can set the tire pressure anywhere from 0 psi to 199 psi. As for the temperature, you're able to switch between degrees F and degrees C, and the system will alert you if the temperature exceeds 167 degrees F. With both the monitor and the app, you are also able to disconnect and reconnect to different vehicles, RVs, or trailers. This is useful for those who switch between different applications, such as a Class A motorhome owner who sometimes tows a car.
This repeater helps improve signal strength and range of the sensors. It has dual Hi-Db antennas that let the booster cut through signal interference coming from wireless electronic devices used in surrounding automobiles. It also ensures that the link from the sensors to the monitor is strong and continuous. The unit has a green light on the front panel to indicate it has power and a blue light that blinks when it transmits a signal.
This TPMS system includes 8 batteries, 4 locking nuts, 4 O-rings, a wrench, and an adhesive. Once the batteries have been inserted, thread the locking nuts onto the valve stems, and install the sensors. Lastly, secure the locknuts against the sensors with the wrench.
The weatherproof and dustproof Bluetooth repeater can be installed anywhere on the exterior of your RV or trailer between the rear axle and king pin. The optimal mounting location for a towable camper is toward the front whereas the optimal mounting location for a drivable RV is toward the rear. it is not recommended to install the repeater inside your vehicle, as you might experience signal blockage. Use either the adhesive (included) or hardware (not included) to attach the repeater and wire it to a power supply line. In order to reduce vibration, make sure it's securely mounted. Then connect the black wire to ground, and the red wire to power. Zip-ties are included to fasten the booster and wires to your RV or trailer.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com Today, we'll be taking a look at this TireMinder A1AS TPMS monitoring system, for RVs and trailers, using Bluetooth and the four flow-through transmitters. Now this TPMS system will let you monitor your RV or trailer's tire pressures and temperatures, via this included monitor, or you can even use your smartphone using the free TireMinder TPMS app. I happen to have my smartphone here. I downloaded the TireMinder app on there, and you can see mine's an iPhone 8 Plus. And there's your app that you would set your pressures and everything at, and you could monitor using this. If you prefer not to, you can use the monitor that's included.
This is designed to work great on your motor home, your fifth wheel or your trailer. You'll get real time pressures and temperature notifications on the monitor or smartphone, and you could see when I turn the monitor on, here's what the monitor would look like, and you can set your settings there. Now, as we mentioned, it is also compatible with the iPhone, the iPad, the Android smart devices. It does require iOS 7 and higher or Android 4.4 and higher, with Bluetooth 4.0 capability. Now this kit will include everything laid out here on the table.
It'll include this A1AS five and a half inch monitor, a rhino signal booster, the four flow-through transmitters, with the four locking nuts, a locking wrench, and the replacement O-rings. The AC/DC adapter with the micro USB cable comes with the eight total CR1632 lithium batteries, nice storage bag for carrying everything all in one place, nice operation manual, and also this nice mount, with the suction cup on the bottom, which you can use on your dash or on your windshield. And it is a magnetic mount, so you can see if you're gonna use that, that'll stick right to it and you can attach it wherever you need to. And you just pull it off to remove it. It does come with extra metal pads here for your magnet.
Now this monitor, it's a very easy to use LCD monitor. It'll provide you with visual and audible alerts. It warns you of any changes with tire pressure, tire temperature, sensor and monitor batteries, and even the sensor signal. This will enable you to set tire pressures and temperature settings. And we mentioned the magnetic monitor holder will mount to the windshield or dash.
The booster right here. This is a Rhino booster, this will strengthen the sensor signal using the 433 megahertz transmitters. It eliminates electronic interference with other wireless devices, and this is fully weatherproof, so it will install on the under carriage. And as you can see, it connects to a 12 volt or 24 volt DC power. The sensors that are included, they're four flow through sensors and these electric monitor each tire individually, they install onto your valve stem and it allows your tires to be inflated or deflated without removing the sensors. Which is nice, 'cause all you have to do is once these are installed and locked into place, you can check your pressure, add air or delete air just by removing the valve cap and going through that way. So it saves you the hassle of having to take off your sensors to check your air pressure or add air. And as we mentioned, these do install easily onto the valve stems. They do lock in place using these lock nuts and the locking wrench. And they are in brass construction, they're designed to use on rubber steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems. And what's nice when you install these, these are very lightweight at only about 0.7 ounces. So it eliminates the need to rebalance your tires. And the sensors are upgraded sensors. They provide accurate reading within one PSI and they'll check the tire pressure and temperature every six seconds. Now this comes with four. We do sell additional sensors if needed. This will monitor up to 22 tires. Now the charger here is a nice USB charger. You can see the USB ports down here. This will let you plug into your vehicle's 12 volt accessory by extending that out. Or on the very back you can flip down the plug here and plug it into an AC wall outlet. And again, it includes the micro USB charging cable, storage bags all included. A few specs on this, start with the tire sensors. Their pressure range is zero to 232 PSI operating frequency we mentioned is 433 megahertz. Temperature range operating is negative four degrees Fahrenheit up to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The monitor right here. This has a battery recharge time of not six hours. And then the dimensions on this, just to give you an idea, the width on it, it's gonna be right at three and seven eighths inches wide, the height, it's gonna be right about five and three quarter inches. And then if you have the antenna it adds about one and five eighths inches. And the depth of it is right at seven inch. The size of the booster right here, the single booster, overall dimensions width wise, we're gonna use, include the mounting tabs, right at two and a half inches. The height, including the antenna, it's right at four and a quarter inches and the depth at the widest point, right at seven inch. the wire comes with this three feet long and it has the two alligator clips for positive and negative.
