Recommended TMPS For Boat Trailer Being Used In Salt Water

Question:

Can this system be used on a boat trailer that will be used in salt water? Also, if the booster is wired directly to the boat battery, will this drain the battery if the boat is not used for an extended period?

I have another option for you, but the Tire Linc TPMS for RVs # LC37VR you were looking at is not rated for use in salt water.

Instead I recommend the TST TPMS # TST34FR which gets installed inside of the tire so it will not be effected by salt water.

Wiring the booster directly to the battery of your RV will not cause the boat battery to go dead when not in use, as the power draw is so minimal it will not be noticeable.

I included a video of the # TST34FR for you to take a look at.
