Great product , I had a problem with not enough room for my regular snap up chain , found these online and it works great when your batterybox is in the way .

No issues after 1 yr of use

by:

Heavy made. Didn't have room for the chain lifts because of the placement of the gas bottles and this worked out perfect, no welding to do. Used on a 17 foot Casita fiberglass camper trailer.

Still working great, have used many miles.

Recently purchased a Keystone Cougar
30FKV travel trailer and discovered that the Reese Pro hitch chain hangers would not work under the v-nose.
Not enough clearance to 'snap-up'' the chains.

I'net research turned up E-Trailer as the only supplier of these hangers.

Tho pricey, they were ordered easily and delivered on time. Chunky, well made, with hardware, easily installed, it looks like the solution for the problem

As in other reviews; NOTE that you must jack up the tow and trailer to properly load your equalizers using these fixed chain hangers.
BE SURE YOUR TONGUE JACK IS CAPABLE OF DOING THIS !!

The customer service is outstanding. I was unsure what to buy for my application. Upon asking I was sent the parts number and web page to buy this part. You folks will be the first company I go to for any future purchases thank you

by:

This product was the primary item in my purchase, and they bolted up to my trailer in about 10 minutes. Heavy duty shackles seem like they will work just fine.

by:

The part fit exactly as described and was delivered ahead of the original time promised. A great company to purchase from, I will be ordering more items.

by:

My parts got here quicker than expected and were exactly as described. Thanks guys

  • Replacment Chain Hangers for EAZ Lift Weight Distribution System
I have a solution for your EAZ Lift weight distribution hitch to replace the brackets for a chain system. I recommend using either the Chain Hangers for Reese Weight Distribution Systems - Clamp On # RP58306 or bolt on hangers like # C17005. Both of these will work for your system and are not rated for a specific weight capacity, so they'll be fine with your 10k system.

  • How to Install Weight Distribution Brackets on Trailer Frame That Has Cross Tube Near A-Frame
Sometimes trailer frame designs like yours or the presence of propane tanks or other tongue-mounted accessory items on a trailer can interfere with installation of the chain lift brackets for a WD system like the ProSeries # 49570. Reese, the sister company to ProSeries, offers a simple solution for this issue, their bolt-on chain lift brackets # RP58305. These bolt to the outside edges of the two frame rails and so they will not interfere with your trailer's square cross tube. Another...

  • Replacement Frame Brackets for Chain Hangers on Husky Weight Distribution System
I have a solution for you, but we do not currently have any Husky specific chain hangers available. However, the Chain Hangers for Reese Weight Distribution Systems - Clamp On # RP58306 will work just the same to replace the clamp on brackets from your Husky system all the same. These Reese chain hangers are rated for up to 14,000-lbs trailers, so they'll work perfectly with your 12,000-lbs system.

  • Weight Distribution System for 2003 Coleman Fleetwood Camper Towed by 2005 Toyota Sienna
First, you will want to ensure your Sienna's hitch is a 2-inch Class III type that is rated for use with weight distribution; this will be indicated on the hitch safety/warning sticker. For example, Curt hitch # C13105 has this capability. Next you will want to measure your camper's fully-loaded tongue weight when it is stocked with all gear and supplies and ready to tow. To this you will add the weight of anything in the tow vehicle placed behind the rear axle, such as a loaded cooler....

  • Solution for a Reese Weight Distribution System Brackets Where Above Frame Clearance is Limited
It sounds like you are looking for a way to attach Reese weight distribution frame brackets to the side of a trailer frame where there isn't clearance above the frame to allow the # RP58306 to attach. For that situation we have the part # RP58305 which gives you a set of brackets that you can attach to the side of the trailer frame by bolting directly to the side of the frame. I attached a picture that shows how this would attach on a trailer that has a toolbox above the frame.

The Replacement Frame Brackets for Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # C17508 will work with only the Curt TruTrack systems. If you have the EAZ Lift brackets for a chain system, then you will need to use the Chain Hangers for Reese Weight Distribution Systems - Clamp On # RP58306 or bolt on hangers like # C17005. If you have the trunnion or round bars with integrated sway control then we don't have anything that is compatible with your brand of system.

Although the # RP58306 clamps I recommended would allow you to retain your existing Dual-Cam system, a Reese SC system could be a good choice as well. The sway control portion of the SC works almost but not quite as well as the Dual-Cam you're currently using, but it still works very well. The # RP66560 is rated for tongue weights ranging from 500-1200 lbs and might be a good choice for you, depending on the fully loaded and ready to tow tongue weight of your TT. • Chain Hangers for use With Reese Weight Distribution
There are a pair of options when choosing chain hangers for your Reese Titan Weight Distribution System # RP66006. The bolt-on chain hangers are # RP58305, but if you prefer not to drill you can use the clamp-on chain hangers, # RP58306. For snap-up brackets you would want to use the Replacement Lift Brackets with Handle for Reese Weight Distribution Systems # RP6637, or the Replacement Heavy Duty Snap-Up Bracket for Reese Weight Distribution Systems # 58392.

On a trailer frame that is 2 inches thick and 5 inches tall, the Reese clamp-on chain hangers, # RP58306, will fit. The brackets fit a frame up to 6-1/2 inches tall and 2-3/4 inches wide. With an aluminum trailer frame, you will need to consult the trailer manufacturer to determine if weight distribution can be used.

  • Availability of Bolt On Chain Hangers for an EAZ-lift Weight Distribution System
From what I could find online it looks like the clamps you are talking about for your EAZ-lift Weight Distribution (WD) system are similar to the Reese Lift Brackets # RP6637. For this application we do have the bolt on Chain Hangers # RP58305 for when there are clearance issues on the top of the trailer frame. For your C-channel frame I recommend using the clamp on chain hangers like part # RP58306 and putting a piece of wood in the C-channel to give the bracket some extra support. Please...

This being said, I have a solution that would allow you to continue using your Strait-Line Weight Distribution System. First, thank you for your brake controller and harness purchase from etrailer last year. We appreciate you coming back to us. Thank you also for providing useful details about your towing set up. Some aluminum trailers cannot be used with WD so I recommend confirming compatibility with the trailer manufacturer. These are just hangers, not lift brackets, so you would need to use the trailer jack to get the required tension on the spring bars.
