i HAVE A REESE DISTRIBUTION HITCH. DO I HAVE TO USE REESE HOOK UP BRACKETS FOR THE BARS?

Yes, you'll want to use Reese brand frame brackets when you go to install your weight distribution system. Most likely you need chain hangers like the # RP58306 or if you have clearance issues above the frame on your trailer you can use the bolt on style brackets like part # RP58305.
