I purchased the submersible trailer lights and they still work great. Very happy with the product.
Just what I wanted to carry my spare tire on the trailer.
Installed quickly and easily on my boat trailer tongue, and additionally provides a fantastic place to stand while releasing or connecting the bow strap during launching or loading. Product quality seems tops and I expect no issues out of the unit.
Does its job. What more can I say? Hasn’t rusted yet either.
I've used these spare tire brackets in the past. They work OK, and they're inexpensive. They put pressure on the tire sidewall and work loose as the tire pressure in the tire decreases.
I finally decided to build custom brackets welded to my trailers. These hold my spare tires on permanently mounted studs that are much easier to use.
Had to wait a couple of weeks for one piece on the order to come in, but etrailer let me know what was going on. Product looks good, will install in the next couple of days. 2nd time I've used etrailer, good stuff, good prices, good service.

A year later, it works just fine!
This is a really simple spare tire mount. I used it for a small trailer that I fixed up. It adapted easily to a four hole wheel. It works great for a small, simple application.
This spare tire mount works fine for what it is. Make sure you have the correct size wrench in your vehicle as the bracket nuts may be a different wrench size than your lug nuts. Also, make sure this mount is long enough for your set up. Mine is barely long enough to get a full nut over the threads. It would be better to have one that is long enough so you can double nut it. It would be very bad to have your spare fall off under your trailer going down the road.
Used to mount spare tire on Malone kayak trailer, works very well have been on a couple of long 3 hour plus trips with no issues.
Trailer tires and wheels and carrier were shipped and delivered promptly. Installed the wheels on my PWC trailer and drove about 50 miles, great ride.
Fits 3" square tube perfect. Got this item to hang spare tire on the box frame. came with 2 quality lug nuts and the plating is bright and shiny. looks like it will hold up in the weather and it's a low cost problem solver. If your worried about theft protection do like me and run one of those coated bike lock cables threw the rim and around the frame. I am using this with a 5 lug wheel and a 4.80 X 12 tire.
Great inexpensive way to hold down your spare tire. I lay my spare down flat right behind the winch post of my boat trailer. This holds it down very nicely and looks good. Shipping was fast, price was great, and the quality is great. As always a pleasant experience with etrailer.com.

I was looking for an inexpensive way to mount my spare tire to my trailer. I found the etrailer website and was amazed at how many different options they had. Works as it should but barely long enough to work on my back track aluminum trailer for my express bay boat.

Fit great. Would have been nice with a cross bracket to firm it up against the top of the mounting tube. A locking lug would also be a nice feature
Good cheap alternative. Just barely long enough to mount my spare horizontally on my boat trailer . ST215/75D/14.
