Today we'll be taking a look at the CE Smith Spare Tire Carrier for trailers, fits 4 and 5-lug wheels, 8-3/8 inches long. Part number CE22007Z-11050-2. It's also available in 12-1/4 inches long for your largest spare tires, and that part number is CE22011Z-11050-2. inaudible 00:00:33 install it on a boat trailer, and it is great for any boat trailers, utility trailers, and it will fit with any trailer with up to a 3-inch wide frame. Here you can see we got it mounted to the frame, and you can see how it ripped around that frame. Then we used the two included lug nuts to tighten it down and hold it firmly against the side. That way, it's there if you need it, and there is no drilling required.
You can see here we're working with a smaller tire, but this does fit 4 and 5-lug wheels up to 15 inches. This spare tire carrier is made of a sturdy steel construction, and it's zinc-plated to help resist rust and corrosion, and it will last you a nice, long time. Product does what it’s supposed to. Took well over a week to receive. Order was received by etrailer same day. Took them almost a week to ship it. If you need something quick you might keep looking.
Exactly what I needed. It fit my trailer and spare tire rim perfectly.
Would it kill you to thread the entire bolt instead of the first 2 inches. You put it through the tire and angle iron and put the nuts to the end of the thread and still have 3 inches of unthreaded slack. Had to cut a 2*4, drill holes, slide over the bolts so that the nuts could fasten down to something and buy washers so nuts didn't dig into the wood.. If it was fully threaded this would happen. Cheap garbage.
These parts were just what a I was looking for and delivery was quick and efficient! Also cheaper than my local West Marine, thank you etrailer!

Just what I was expecting. Bolted right up and got my boat trailer’s spare tire finally mounted!
Fits my trailer well. I'm mounting on my trailer tongue so the U bolt is underneath. I'm using an extra jam nut on each threaded piece to protect against vibration.
Secures my 13” spare securely on top of tongue of my Aluma trailer. Would have been nice to have nylock type nuts to ensure the lug nuts stay put.
A little long and short on threads but made them fit TKS
This is a simple spare tire holder that works well. I had made my own out of SS all thread and some aluminum plates years ago for my fishing rig, and last month needed another simple tire mount that would lay in the front of the trailer. Do to time constraints though I couldn't build another of my own... I remembered seeing these in the past and just went this route. Success, I bolted the tire onto the bow and off the ol' Fiberform went to Idaho.

This fit my pontoon trailer perfectly. I combined it with the C E Smith padlock brackets and had the spare tire mounted in ten minutes. I was able to use a master lock that is keyed to all the other master locks that I use on my boats and sheds, etc. Very satisfied with the quality, fit and price. I have always had good luck with etrailer.com for all of my boat trailers and utility trailer parts and when I need anything else I will certainly not hesitate to order from them.
JUST WHAT I NEEDED
Most simple way to secure your spare. Ours needed to be at a slight angle but it worked perfectly. We did choose to add rubber washers under the lug bolts to accommodate the angle, but we are very happy with the fit and versatility of the product.
Fits perfect with the Malone XT trailer, with the hide-away-tongue..The 12" U bolt with nuts, makes secureing your spare tire on the trailer frame a better option than fastening it on the tongue..
Product worked perfectly.
However, your website indicated the width as 3.5" when
it was the same as your shorter 8" carrier which I believe was a little over 3". The narrower width was actually what I
wanted so it worked out perfectly. Thks!

item is working great . . . I wish there was the ability to clamp it to the trailer. I would suggest welding the bracket to the trailer top rail. It does work as is, but would be better with a clamp.
This is actually for relocating the spare tire on my Coastline boat trailer from the side carrier to the 3 1/2" sq tubing from frame to tongue behind the winch.
Worked great on my tongue, double stacked 3 inch aluminum beams with welded seam. Width is 3.06", wide enough to make it past the weld. CE26002Z-2 pad lock brackets work great too; no nut or tool needed. Great shipping. Even the cheapest shipping made it here in a few days.

I checked and with the u bolt style spare tire carriers I do not have one to offer that would have longer threads on the the u bolt.
