Platinum Plus Warranty with Roadside Assistance

This tire-and-wheel assembly comes with a Platinum Plus warranty that includes complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change out the flat tire with your existing inflated spare tire. The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition to the roadside assistance, this warranty also includes other benefits and services.

Corrosion-Resistant Finish

The steel wheel goes through a 3-step finishing process that makes it both attractive and corrosion resistant. The wheel is first submerged in a zinc phosphate bath to ensure good paint adhesion. It is then e-coated with an acrylic primer base and the outboard side is finished with baked-on DuPont powder paint. The light e-coat on the inboard side of the wheel reduces friction between the wheel and your hub and eliminates the flaking that can occur with a heavily applied paint finish.

Improved Torque Retention Technology

Beveled Stud Holes Front and Back

The automotive-rated center disc is raised and the stud holes are beveled and uncoated for better clamp force retention. This technology helps the wheel stay tight against your hub without the need for constant retightening.

Provider Radials with Automotive-Grade Tread

Provider Tread Vs Standard Tread

Unlike standard trailer tire tread, which has solid, continuous ribs, the automotive-grade tread on these Provider radials has ribs with breaks. These breaks allow water to run off to the sides. The Provider tread also has sipes. Siping is a process in which thin grooves (or sipes) are cut into the rubber of the tire. The grooves channel water away from the tread so that the tire makes better contact with the road. Both of these features greatly improve traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions.

Provider radials are constructed with double polyester cords and double steel belts for increased durability and endurance. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation. Provider radials are bake tested - a process usually reserved for automotive tires - to ensure that the rubber holds up over time.

Match Mounted and Balanced Trailer Tire Assembly

In an ideal world, tire-and-wheel assemblies would be perfectly round and even throughout. Unfortunately tires and wheels have imperfections that often cause vibrations, resulting in a rough ride and wear and tear on the assemblies, as well as on the rest of your trailer's running gear. Taskmaster helps to solve this problem by match mounting and balancing their assemblies so they're ready to roll when they reach your door.

To do this, Taskmaster uses a laser-guided machine to locate the heavy and light spots of each assembly. They then align the assembly so that lightest part of the tire is near the heaviest part of the wheel. The assembly is then rotated at high speeds to pinpoint the optimal place to apply weights to further balance the tire.

Don't delay your adventures by having to take your trailer to the shop for new tires. Start rolling as soon as possible with easy-to-install, fully balanced tire-and-wheel assemblies from Taskmaster.

Radial Tires vs. Bias Tires

Radial tire vs bias tire graphic

Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

Determining the Bolt Pattern

The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.

Bolt Pattern - Odd

To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)

Bolt Pattern - Even

On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)

Bolt Pattern - Side

Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

  • If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
  • If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
  • If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
  • If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

Purchased the 225 radials/wheel combo as an upgrade for the aged 205 biased belted tires on my utility trailer. It was an easy transaction with super fast delivery. Tires look great and was very pleased to see the tires have a recent manufacture date which is important on ST type tires.

by:

Super fast shipping, and great packaging. I have heard of companies just labeling and sbipping spare tires. You guys went above and beyond. Also a pleasant online shopping experience.

by:

I have ordered this product on Sunday morning and it was delivered on Thursday. Great service, easy to find your product on the website and fast delivery. This tire has been ordered because i need a spare tire in case of a blowout tire. I hope that i won't have to use it, but now i feel safe now to have a spare tire and can drive around with my 25ft enclosed trailer with my classic in it.

by:

Bought for my cargo trailer. Look great. Fast Shipping. Overall good experience.

Good web site and easy to find what is needed. Prompt service and good pricing. Will use again.

I'm giving 2 stars because I ordered this tire and rim combo and when it arrived the tire was the correct brand but the rim was incorrect. The rim was supposed to be an ARC brand and powder coated. The rim that arrived was made by Maxion and it was acrylic enamel. etrailer took the tire and rim combo back after I explained the issue. Fast forward a few months I was shopping for the rim and tire combo shown above and it showed instock. I ordered it and when it arrived the same thing happened. What I received was not what was pictured. Again I was ordering the ARC rim and Provider tire and I received the Maxion rim and Provider tire. So I called again and it sounds like the person that received the return just put the tire and rim combo back on the shelf even though I explained in detail to the person on the phone it was mislabeled. I know etrailer has had the ARC rim and Provider tire combo because I've ordered one from them before. I give the customer service kudos for trying to help me but its too bad there was a communication break down between the person answering the phone and the person accepting the returns. The tire and rim pictured is correct to what I was trying to order. What I was trying to order was even in their video describing the product. The ARC rims has a little round gold sticker with the letters ARC.

Best price I could find on line or going to different stores + free shipping!! This is a spare for my trailer dolly great to pull my cobra kit car!!

by:

I could not more pleased with my 6 ply trailer tires and wheels from etrailer. I purchased the tires mounted on the wheels, took them out of the box and put them on my boat trailer. That was a year ago and have had no problems. Previously I had been blowing out 4ply tires as the Triton boat is heavy. This is not my first purchase from etrailer. They sell quality products at a great price and want you to be satisfied as a customer. Thanks George!

by:

Great wheels & tires upgrade for our (then-new) Zieman ski trailer! We haul our skis from CA to AZ several times a year and wanted a bigger/better wheel and tire to handle not only the distance, but all the conditions that we put the trailer through (miles of roads, heat, dirt, sand & water) and these have handled it all exceptionally well.

by:

All 5 tires showed up each boxed separately. Free shipping and had them within a week. Their customer service kept me informed as to where in the process my order was. Would definitely order from etrailer.com again.

by:

I needed to replace all four tires on my camper. Etrailer made that easy for me by providing information online as to tire specifications and hub configuration. Pricing with rims included was very competitive even against tire discounters who offered tires only. Mounted tires were shipped (free shipping) promptly and delivered to my door by UPS. Each tire was individually boxed and had the proper inflation. Easily swapped out the tires in my driveway yesterday saving me a lot of rigamarole running back and forth with the camper to have new tires mounted. Picture attached.

by:

I needed a spare tire for my trailer and I wanted the rims to match. I saw this and took a chance. Lo and behold they matched perfect. The tire is even better than the ones that came with the trailer. I also got the mounting bracket/carrier. The bolts that came with the bracket were way to long so I went and got some shorter grade 5 bolts and ta da looks good, works great.

by:

Great tire wheel set. Saved me the trouble of cleaning up my old rusted wheels and less cost them mounting new tires on old rims.
Shipped in heavy duty box.
Made my old trailer look like new.

by:

The new tires and leveling jacks were delivered quickly and without damage. The jacks were the same as the ones I removed so no new drilling was necessary. Installation was quick. Also, the tires appear to be good quality and the 15” radials should be a safer ride than the original 14” tires. Thanks to posts on ETrailer, I was easily able to order the proper tires for my RPod 179.

by:

Satisfied with the the set up. Ordering was a little hairy since we were changing & upgrading the wheel and tire setup on the trailer. After two arrivals were incorrect, it was straitened out. All seven did arrive quickly with free shipping. I would recommend using etrailer.com. Always double check the specs. twice when ordering online. Phone support was very helpful.

by:

This is the third order from an outstanding company... first two a hitch and wiring harness for an Audi TT, and now tires for the trailer I haul with it, a modified Cessna Centurion turned CAMPER... these tires are BETTER then I expected, and rated at 80mph...OUTSTANDING!!! THANK YOU etrailer!!!

by:

I just finished installing the new tires and wheels. The old ST205/75D15's were beginning to dry rot on my enclosed car trailer. These new wheels and tires look great on the trailer and switching to the load range D radials should work better too.

by:

Purchased this tire/wheel combo as a spare for my utility trailer. I was amazed at the speed of delivery and the perfect match to the wheels I currently have on the trailer. I also purchased a Master #262DAT spare tire carrier lock and Wishbone #A20WB 4-way wire combo from etrailer. com. Unfortunatly, etrailer did not carry a spare tire carrier that suited my needs so I built my own, everything installed perfectly. I am extremely please with the products and customer service I received from etrailer. Will definitely purchase from etrailer again as the need arises.

by:

Super nice tires and wheels for my boat trailer. I replaced some c range tires and gal wheels that were close to 10 years old. What a relief to find a perfect product to relieve the worry of a blowout. Excellent service with down to earth people.

by:

Ordered these based on positive reviews and advice from Etrailer's excellent staff. The tires arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I installed these on my 17' Casita and they fit fine with plenty of clearance. They are definitely a higher duty tire than stock, which is what I was looking for.

by:

I bought these (2) wheels and tires to replace a pair of 7.00-15 wheels and tires on a much abused 1969 Airstream Safari 23 that I was rehabilitating. They arrived within 2/3 days and were as advertised. I have put about 800 miles on the trailer since installing them and have had no problems.

by:

Good and inexpensive tire. I put it on with a new hub assembly for my Lil' Hobo retro camper trailer. Have to make some new wheel well trim, as you can see, but the tire looks good, almost too good for the camper.

  • Recommended Trailer Tires to Replace 235/75R15 Tires
It looks like the previous owner of the trailer had vehicle tires installed since there are very few trailer tire manufacturers that carry a 235/75R15 size. Even though it might work for a while, trailer tires are always better to use for trailer applications. Trailer tires have a stronger sidewall and can be identified by the letters ST before the tire size. For example, the Taskmaster Provider # A225R645WM has a tire size of ST225/75R15. Since people are not meant to ride in the back...

  • Are Your Tire and Wheel Combinations Already Balanced and Ready for the Road?
Our Tire and Wheel combinations are in fact ready for the road. They are not, however balanced in the way you may think of a car or truck tire. The way ST trailer tires are designed is different and their use is different from vehicle tires. You don't need to add weights to the rim or spin the ST tires for balance. There is a "light" point to each tire and a "heavy" point to each wheel. The manufacturer matches those points to give the ST tires "balance". This makes the tires absolutely...

As long as your trailer has a bolt pattern of 5 on 4-1/2 inches the Kenda Wheel and Tire kit part # AM32468 that you referenced would work great as a replacement for the wheel and tire on your trailer currently that has a size of 225/75-15. We have quite a few 15 inch trailer wheels that would work for the tire size 225/75-15 that you have. What you'll need to know is the bolt pattern of the wheels you currently have so that you can find a wheel that will bolt right up. Most likely it's a 6 lug pattern as that is the most common for that size. For that the part # LHAW124 would be a great solution. The pilot diameter of a wheel is only crucial for if the wheel is hub-centric (meaning it centers to the hub using the pilot hole of the wheel), and not lug centric (means the lugs are what centers the wheel). The # A225R645WM has a pilot diameter of 3.31 inches. Most likely you have lug-centric wheels and this would be just fine. The easy way to tell is to check out how the wheel attaches to the hub. If it is a wheel bolt it is hub-centric, or if it is a lug nut it is lug-centric.

  • Replacement Wheel and Tire and Weight Distribution for a 1985 Avion 25 ft Trailer
For a replacement wheel and tire that would fit best for replacing the 7.00-15LT you have on your trailer you would want the part # A225R645WM. These tires are also rated for 2,540 lbs at 65 psi. Check out the review video I attached...
