Recommended Tires for Old Airstream Travel Trailer 24 Feet Long Single Axle 2800 lbs Empty
Question:
Looking for some new rubber for an old airstream travel trailer the trailer empty weighs around 2800 pounds its 24 ft long SINGLE axle. I know I can put load range D . The trailer currently has 14.5 wheels thats are 37 years old with 40k miles and they still hold air. Radial or bias ply really doesnt matter I am not driving like a lunatic but I would like to find something that can handle high way speeds or 65 mph because speed limits are too low. I am at a toss up of Corkey Koker 3inch white walls or something you have available. I want something with a good life span, when parked tires will be covered and weight wont be left on suspension components. Thanks for the help. Looking for Tires 225 75 15

We do not carry 14-1/2 inch tires or wheels.
If you want to upgrade to 15 inch wheels, I recommend the Provider ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" White Spoke Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - LR D # TA84VR. These combinations are rated for 2,540 lbs at 65 psi and speeds up to 81 mph. They also come with the 2 year warranty with complimentary roadside assistance.
If you need the 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern, then use # A225R645WM which will keep the other specs except it has a white wheel instead of silver.
Let me know if you have more questions.
