Recommended 13 Inch Wheel/Tire for Jet Ski Trailer

Question:

The current tires are 13 inch, 5-lug and 155rs78. I see only AT175/80D. Can I replace my 155r s 78s with these: Loadstar ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire with 13inch Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range B Item # AM3S060 Kenda

What's the current tire size? I don't recognize '155r s 78s' as a tire size, nor can I find anything online about it.

The 175/80-13 tire you mentioned, part # AM3S060 is a Load Range B (1100 lb per tire capacity) bias ply tire mounted on a 13 x 5 Galvanized rim. The tire measures 24 inches in diameter and measures 6.6 inches wide. If this is similar to your existing tires, these would work well as long as your current wheels have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern.

If you do lots of highway miles, you might consider going with a radial tire which will give a smoother highway ride, and because they do a better job of shedding heat, you should get longer life out of them. We offer the same wheel with a 175/80-13 Load Range D (1610 lb per tire capacity) radial tire as part # AM32001HWTB.

I used this exact wheel/tire combo on my PWC trailer, and they worked perfectly for me.
