Replacement 1-1/2" and 3" Valterra Bladex RV Waste Valves With Threaded Shafts

Question:

If you remove the hub and spigot from the T40NH are you left with a T1003DSPB but with threaded instead of drilled shaft? I need to replace a 3 inch and a 1 1/2 inch valve. Both have threaded shafts that couple to existing threaded extender rods which would be difficult to replace. I need valve bodies with threaded shafts, or I could use drilled shafts if you have couplers to connect a drilled shaft to a threaded extender rod.

Yes, if you were to remove the hub and spigot from the Valterra Bladex Waste Valve # T40NH you would be left with a Valterra Bladex Waste Valve Body # T1003DSPB with the threaded shaft rather than a drilled shaft.

A better option may be to use the Valterra Bladex Waste Valve Body # T1003VP and just remove the handle that is threaded on. That will take care of the 3" valve you are needing.

We have the 1-1/2" valve with the spigot and hub # T1001NH or like the other option I recommended # T1001VPM with a threaded handle that can be removed.
