Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra rotating bayonet hose fitting. This unit attaches to one end of your drain hose to help extend your drain hose setup. This end would slide into a 3-inch diameter hose and secure with a 3-inch hose clamp. Hose clamps are sold separately. The other end features a 4-pin bayonet hub fitting that would connect to a standard bayonet fitting on another hose. It easily attaches to bayonet fittings with either a 4-hook or 2-hook design.
This end of the fitting rotates to ensure that the hose doesn't kink or bind and that the hose lays flat after making the connection. The unit's made from a durable, black plastic construction. If we take an outer diameter measurement from this area here to the same point on the other side, that's going to give us a measurement of 3 1/2 inches. Outer diameter here on this lip end, it's going to measure just under 3 inches, so that way it easily slides into a 3-inch diameter hose. The sewer System products all fit together as I expected. Added these on to my current dump hose will make it much easier for setup and tear down.
Robust. Fits in the bumper. Does it's job and worth the money.
