This coupler connects (2) 1-1/2" diameter sewer system pipes in your RV or motorhome. Simply slide the pipes into either side of the coupler and secure with ABS solvent bond (A05-0303 - sold separately).

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Valterra DWV coupling for your RV sewer system. This DWV coupling is going to connect two pipes in the sewer system of your RV or motor home. It's going to work with one and a half inch diameter pipes and this is a simple installation. You're just going to slide your pipes into each side of this coupling then solvent bond with ABS solvent cement and if you don't have any cement on hand the good news is we do carry exactly what you need here at etrailer.com. And on your screen, I am including our item number for some ABS solvent cement.
If you'd like to add that to your order, you can just take that item number and put it in the search field of our website and that will take you to that cement. Now let me go ahead and give you some overall measurements so you can be confident that this is going to work for you. Beginning with the overall length. As you can see, we are sitting right at an inch and a half and then the diameter. Looking at the inner diameter, we are sitting right at an inch and seven eighths, and then the outer diameter is two and a quarter inches.
This is of a sturdy ABS plastic construction. Very durable, very strong. And this is listed by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials. Well, that's going to wrap up our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.

Delivery was super-fast, well packed, and items were in excellant condition when received. I have not installed the parts to date thus I can't speak to fit, but, suspect that is not an issue.
products work as advertised. did not know the difference between hub to hub and spigot to spigot and did not see it noted anywhere in the ad. thanks for being there.
