Kit includes 2 tubes of self-leveling sealant, 1 roll of butyl tape, 8 wood screws, and 30 sheet metal screws.We purchased this product for two of our projects, upgrading our HD TV antenna and installing a vent fan in my truck cap.
Both products worked well. Both the truck cap an antenna install have no leaks, rain tested at 60 MPH.
The only problem was with the way the Butyl Tape packaged. The roll was not secured on type of cardboard pallet, it was bent over to fit in the box so when we received it it looked a bit like a potato chip. After a day lying on a flat surface and some hand shaping all ended well.
Tape and sealant were just what I needed for removing and re-installing the Fantastic vent fan on my 8 year-old Sprinter Class B van conversion, which had started to leak around the screws and gasket. Although the original Fantastic vent installation instructions specified using a different kind of gasket material, there was enough information available from reviews on the etrailer site and [online] videos to give me confidence that the butyl tape would be a good substitute. Installation seemed to go quite well and the RV sealant seems to be really good. Time will tell, of course. (PS: the kit comes without instructions. Cut the tape to completely cover the area of contact between roof and vent housing; screw the vent into place, trim off extra tape and apply the sealant liberally, first to the screw heads then overlapping roof and housing.)
Product arrived quickly and everything was in the box for installation of the roof vent.

Great products. I bought 3 roof vents for my pop up camper easy to install only issue was the inside the camper piece was to thick. My camper roof is not that thick so I just cut them down to size and installed. I only bought 1 installation kit so I had to go to the hard ware store to get more screws. Plenty of caulk for 3 vents.

When I received the shipment, I found the tape was messed up due to how it was packaged in the box. You get quite a bit of the product so I was able to work around the damaged stuff to get enough for the installation. The screws shipped with the kit are too short and small. I didn't use any of them and instead put them in my RV kit with other screws for on-the-road repairs. If I ever do another fan install, I'll buy the sealant and tape and use appropriate size screws.
