The MaxxAir standard vent cover installs over your roof vent so that the vent can be opened and the fan can be operated in any weather. This prevents heat from building up inside your RV or trailer and allows smoke and stale air to escape, while also keeping rainwater and debris out. Zero-Leak brackets are included for installation.
The Zero-Leak installation kit included with this vent cover prevents leaks by eliminating the need to drill into the roof of your RV or trailer.
Instead of mounting to your roof, this vent cover mounts to the frame of your roof vent. Simply drill 4 holes into the vertical frame of your roof vent so that you can install the Zero-Leak mounting brackets. These holes will be hidden underneath the vent cover once it is installed, where they will be protected from the elements.
If you are installing this vent cover over a Ventline E-Z Lift Ventadome roof vent, then drilling is not required. The E-Z Lift vent has mounting tabs with pre-drilled holes for installing the included hardware.
The kit comes with rustproof aluminum brackets and stainless steel screws, bolts, nuts, and washers.
This vent cover is constructed of durable, high-density polyethylene. Special additives help ensure that the material can resist the negative effects of UV rays.

Zero-Leak mounting brackets and hardware eliminate the need to drill into your roof for installation.This item was not package well at all scratched up the top of it, the order took 13 working days to arrive it sat in the UPS warehouse for 8 days claimed they did have enough drivers, I had to talk to them and etrailer folks sever times to get the shipment delivered, I guess when you live 100 miles from the warehouse they will take there time. On a side note there was a cargo slide and 3 other items on this shipment. not very happy with T-Force I think etrailer should look for a different delivery service. Other than that it worked fine
I bought this to not only keep rain out and allow for air flow while in tow, but mainly to block the light from coming through in the early mornings. This product has done the trick and I couldn’t be happier.
Added a MaxxAir vent cover to our bathroom vent a year ago. One of the best upgrades we have made to our 5th wheel. The vent can be left open and is usable for ventilation without worry of leaking during rain and wind. Would recommend this product to everyone.
This is a 2d attempt so, hopefully it doesn't come through twice. I purchased this to cover my hail damaged roof vent on my Cougar 5er & it works perfectly. The quality is great & the installation was simple. I'm very pleased with it & I like the fact I can keep my vent open when traveling. The only negative is, it doesn't say if it comes with mounting hardware so, I ordered some & now have an extra set of hardware.

Put three vent covers, and they went on well, just as advertised. Only problem for me was the size of the nuts and bolts (small) for my big old dry hands..but they were appropriate for the installation.
Right part at the right time with great customer service. Love etrailer! The hardware allows for it to be installed on many trailers. We put one on our prior 2016 Bullet Premiere and this one is going on our 2023 North Trail by Heartland

It would of been nice to receive instruction on how to install the vent cover. I'm sure I will figure it out but it would make it much easier with instructions.
I got lucky and my vent dodged the hail. This is a perfect fit to give me some added protection. Arrived on time and in great condition.

This item is extremely important on an RV and is often overlooked! Even a small propane leak can be dangerous. It can even build up inside the propane tank cover. When I used my gas leak detector and found a leak in the tank area, I was surprised that it wasn’t due to a loose connection but was due to small cracks in the hoses. Even hoses that are protected under the cover and only 4 or 5 years old, they need to be checked thoroughly and replaced. Not only does this product incorporate safety features, but they are also made in the USA!
So far so good have not put it on the RV yet but looks good and should be easy to put on.
We've transferred these from one travel trailer to our new 5th wheel and found these covers have held up to all of our weather conditions, heavy rain, wind, snow, even hail. When I was removing them from the old trailer I thought for sure they would be brittle and faded from the sun but nope! Other than a few scratches they looked like new and this is after 4 years with them. Installation is super easy (about 10 minutes) and love being able to keep our vents open to help regulate the inside temps of the RV without worrying about rain getting in. And they look good!
Works perfectly to keep camper ventilated and not smelling musty. I chose blackened plastic color because it matched a/c and frig stack, but they don't let much light in. I suppose they do reduce the heat from the sun also, but I would have liked some more sunshine.
I put two of these on my trailer in June before going on my first epic trip to Ohio from Florida. They look great but I am not sure what happened as I lost two screws on the trip (no jokes). I saw two lock washers and the regular washers on the screen of my vent. When I went up on the roof and found the other two screws/nuts that were still holding the cover on were loose. I checked the screws on the cover up front and they were loose as well. I am glad they did not fly off while I was driving. I replaced the nuts with lock nuts and longer screws plus put the lock washers back on as well.

They are still on and I have not had any issues with the nuts coming loose since putting on the lock nuts. I check them at least twice a year when I inspect the roof, wash and treat it. It is great when I travel as well because I open the vent and the hot air is pulled out which makes it bearable from the heat when we set up. I live in FL for yes it is hot.
The hardest part of replacing this thing was getting onto the top of the camper. 15 min job. The price was right. And after a year of sitting in the sun, it still looks and feels like new. No brittleness.
