Replacement Lid & Operator Mechanism For MaxxFan Plus 4500K Roof Vent

Question:

Thanks Kyle The lift arm looks tweaked also on 1side. Could that b why it will not fully engage In open position? I will order the operator part u suggested if u think that is the issue instead. Do u have a suggestion for the seized set screw to remove fan blade to access parts to replace? Thanks

Let's go ahead and start with the lift mechanism, which is also called the operator mechanism for your MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent # MA00-04500K, which is faulty and why your fan won't stay open. For that we do offer the replacement:

- Replacement Operator Mechanism # MA10-20281K-1AF

In regards to the replacement lid in Smoke for your MaxxFan Plus vent, we do have that part, which is the following:

- Replacement Lid for MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus Roof Vents - Smoke # MA10A40009K

If the lift arm itself looks "tweaked" or somehow damaged, then I do recommend replacing that as well: - Replacement Lift Arm for MaxxFan Roof Vents # MA10-20222KS As for the seized screw, there really isn't much we can offer there other than home remedies like holding a screwdriver in place and trying to turn it slowly while hitting the back of the screwdriver with a hammer to create sort of an impact wrench.
