While this fill hose is typically used in conjunction with a Sturgi-Stay T-fitting (sold separately), it can also be used to connect your dual-cylinder propane setup to the regulator on your RV. It is important to note that this hose does not have a back-check to contain a gas leak. Therefore, when used as part of a dual-cylinder setup, it is not RVIA compliant. A backflow check valve is needed to prevent a major gas leak if one inlet is not connected or has a faulty connection. Both tanks in a dual tank system require check valves. An adapter fitting that includes a back-check (204120-MBS - sold separately) can be used to make your changeover regulator RVIA compliant.

Works as predicted but if you keep it exposed to the elements, it would be a good idea to cover it with a split loom conduit or something similar to prevent drying out and cracking.

Easy to order and delivered when promised. Hose and couplings are perfect. Exactly what I needed.
Easy, fast, and affordable fix! With just a 7/16" and a 7/8" wrench, I had my old stiff hoses replaced in 10 minutes! Exact replacement product with the benefit of being longer and A LOT more flexible than the originals. Hose crimps look better than the originals too.
The main reason for replacing the old hoses, was the 20+ year old hoses were having a harder time sealing, and had to be cranked down on hard, which lead to binding when time to remove for refilling. The 7/8" hex nuts ended up getting rounded out. No longer a problem with the new ones, as they are equipped with an o-ring, so no need to get crazy tightening. Just replace the o-ring, should it ever split or flatten.
For the price, it's hard to go wrong!
Used this pigtail along with the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Fitting - (1/4" Female Inverted Flare x 1/4" MPT) to attach to shut-off valve for propane line. High quality as usual from etrailer.

I can not really rate, as I just received them, the small fitting was too small
1/4 inch for my need, I needed 3/8, however it was TOTALLY MY FAULT, as I did not look at my fittings before ordering, I went with (ASSUME) it gets you every time , got an adapter fitting and works just fine. 5 stars because it was made in USA!!!

These hoses will replace the old ones on our old camper at our property . I liked these because the were twice as long as the ones that came on it, at a very appealing price. Should work great. Always happy with e-trailer. Reliable site, fair prices, helpful videos. Never got an e-mail confirming order shipped.

Still working as expected! No issues
HIGH QUALITY HOSE, MADE IN USA. THE ONLY THING BETTER THEN THE HOSE WAS THE SERVICE RECEIVED BY THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE. REPLACE 20 YEAR OLD 5TH WHEEL TRAILER LPG LINES. TANK SEALS TURNED OUT TO BE THE PROBLEM, BUT HOSES WERE OLD AND NEEDED REPLACED FOR SAFETY REASONS. THANK YOU AGAIN "CARLA".
everything that i've bought from etrailer - say during the past 10 years - has been as expected. i sell auto parts like Hitches and parts for them and have bought trailer parts and travel trailer parts . all were well made and received as described. so, i'm a happy camper . . .
They seem pretty nice and it's what I wanted. I would have given 5 stars if the threads would have been cleaner. Not sure how of the thickness of the rubber hoses are but they are very flexible. We'll see how they hold up. The ones that these are replacing are 29yrs old and there really isn't anything wrong with them, just old is all. etrailer is great so are their prices.

Very high quality replacement propane hose that was not available locally. A small but critical item when you live off the grid and it surprised me with the speed of its arrival,
Worked perfect for my application.
Use it to connect my little heater to outside propane bottle.
Hose was as expected and fit with no leaks. To be fair,, this was bought to replace an identical hose that had begun to leak around the joint on the small side after 2 years or so, so at best, this review is mixed.
Was delivered on time took it out of package hooked up the big tank now we are nice and warm no leaks very good quality thank you
Haven't connected it yet, but the hose looks good and fits as expected. I was informed when my first choice would be delayed too long and give this choice as an alternative. Nice to get the choice instead just waiting for a month with no word.

They have been performing flawlessly. I live off grid in a trailer while building my home, so they are in use 247365. They have been through all types of weather conditions, with ambient temperatures ranging from 100°F down to -15°F. The hoses and fittings are still like new, and I havent had to replace o-rings over the time that has passed. I see no reason why they will not last for years to come.
