Quick-Disconnect Hose Connection

The quick-disconnect fitting on this hose hooks up to the female Model 250 port on a Sturgi-Stay T-fitting, an adapter mounted on a propane tank, or another quick-disconnect port in your RV's propane system. The quick-disconnect port on the other end accepts the male quick-disconnect plug on your appliance. Both hook up without the need for any tools. Simply snap the quick-disconnect fitting into the port and it will stay locked in until you release it. To remove the fitting, just pull back on the collar of the port to disengage the connection.

It’s a high quality hose that is made in the USA. Was glad I was able to find one with the quick disconnect to attach my heater directly into the line on my RV.

by:

Ordered this 4' portable gas grill adapter to replace lugging my extra lp tank along. Quick and EZ connect. Works great!
Thank you for another EZ transaction and super shipping.

by:

This allowed me to use a normal camping stove without having to disconnect the propane tank from my camper. Much better than trying to replace fittings.

by:

The cable never worked properly and would not allow the gas to flow. I replaced the grill thinking that was the issue only to discover the cable would not work on the new grill either.

It sounds like the hose is not getting enough propane flow. Usually this happens when there is a regulator on the trailer and a regulator on the grill. You can use a t fitting such as part # 103613-MBS to bypass the regulator on the trailer side and the hose should get enough propane to heat your grill.

by:

Unfortunately a back order over a month prevents a good review on delivery. The hose is as expected (High Quality ) The lady I spoke with several times is a very good customer relations person.

was planning on using it on a regulated heater, my amper is pre-regulated, not compatibleplanning on using it on a separate 2 gal bottle.

Bought for my pop up camper to run a Mr Buddy heater from the inside burner line. Didn't work at first due to the inner diameter of the plug in-line being to wide to open the safety valve. Found a small nylon spacer at the hardware store that I glued in. Fixed the problem, works great. Have to say etrailer definitely rocked the customer service on this one. Great contact from real people. Thanks a bunch.

by:

Product fits like it should i run my portable blackstone griddle. It seems to maybe be reducing my propane running two regulators. It runs ok on high but not high enough

This propane hose does not have an integrated propane regulator built in. If your griddle has a regulator, then you can connect this hose directly to a propane source, rather than run it through two regulators.

by:

Easy ordering. Great product. Only minus is lack of explanation of the variations in quick disconnects for propane. Did not work with connection in camper.
Blessing in disguise, since I needed another quick connect for another flat-top griddle. I used this line to match the other male connection for hose. Just replaced the female connecter at camper end.
Product works as intended.

by:

The hose assembly is well made and just what I was looking for. I use this with my gas fire logs while traveling in a motorhome. Shipping was quick and as promised

After over pne year of use your product continues to perform as designed. Great product for the cost.

I spent several hours searching websites & visiting local vendors of propane hoses, fittings, etc. before I checked online with etrailer.com & found exactly what I was looking for. I have done business with them in the past & always found them to have good prices on all sorts of trailer related inventory. I now check there first for my trailer related need, even before other stores!

by:

Product works as advertised. I hooked this up through my travel trailer hookup (lower pressure) to my Weber Q1200 portable grill. The Weber website said this will not work, but it worked for me using this hose. It may be that you can't get quite as much heat as the disposable propane bottles, but after a 5 minute test it got to 350 degrees.

by:

Converted all of my small appliances to quick disconnect fittings. This hose allows me to use disposable cylinders away from RV or in emergencies.

by:

Perfect for my trailer and my barbecue grill.

We do carry a six foot hose, part # 100476-72-MBS with the same quick disconnect as the four foot.

by:

No more small propane bottles to mess with. Just plug into my camper propane exterior fitting and fire up my mini smoker!!!
Thanks again etrailer for your great service!!!

by:

I have a small tabletop grill that uses those little green propane tanks. I didn't want to mess with those, so I got this propane hose that allows me to connect to my camper propane, so far so good!

by:

Recently ordered and received the disconnect hose for my rv to use on a newly purchased propane grill. The hose was delivered two days earlier than when it was supposed to be which was great and the hose fit perfectly and I am extremely satisfied with the purchase.

by:

Used this to mod my Weber Q - ended up only using the disconnect side and removing the onboard regulator. Good quality, no issues.

by:

This does not work with rv's that are already regulatesd and a grill that also has a regulator.

by:

Great service

by:

We liked it

by:

The hose was all that I expected. Worked well and looks well made. Due to factory back order I had to wait a couple of weeks. Your staff was very considerate about the delay and kept a vigil on the shipping. Thank You for your product, service and price.

Just received the connector. Appears to be a quality piece. Time will tell. Thought price was slightly on the high side. Otherwise happy with the product.

  • Connecting Coleman Roadtrip X-Cursion Propane Grill to Trailer's Propane Tanks
I think we have what you need. The hose you looked at, part # 100476-48-MBS, has the correct connectors. It's the quick disconnect to go onto your trailer's fitting and the disposable cylinder fitting which is what your grill uses. The problem is your trailer's built in connector is already regulated and so is your grill. That's a problem because you can't go through two regulators. You won't have enough pressure to use your the Coleman. You can use that hose if you Tee into your system...

  • Protective Cap for 1 lb Propane Tank Hose Fitting
Your BBQ grill likely has the 1 lb propane connection which means you can use the red cap from the MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Hose # 100476-48-MBS for your application. The red caps aren't available separately otherwise I would just recommend one of those. An alternative solution would be to purchase a backup hose like part # 100555-72-MBS that has a connector from the 1 lb connector on your grill to the propane tank. Then you can just use that red cap on whichever hose you have...

  • How to Install Quick Disconnect Fittings on a Ryobi 900 Watt Propane Inverter Generator
I have exactly what you need to use a quick disconnect fitting setup with your Ryobi 900 Watt Propane Inverter Generator. For this, you are going to need to use the MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Hose part # 100476-48-MBS on the generator side and the Camco Propane Hose w/ Shut-Off Valve part # CAM57629 on the propane tank side. This is of course assuming that you are correct in that you have a 1-20" disposable cylinder port on the generator. There is also not a direct male 1-20" to...

  • Correct Propane Hose for Quick Disconnect on Trailer to Outside Stove Top
Thank you for the details! The Quick Disconnect Propane Hose # 37207-31155 has a POL fitting on one end that would normally connect directly to a bigger propane tank as well as the quick-disconnect fitting you said matched up just fine with your 2021 Apex Ultra Lite 256BHS. Since that POL was too large it sounds like your outside stove top may have a 1"-20 (or disposable cylinder) port for a small 1 lb propane tank you would use for camping. This is normal for small outside stoves and...

  • Propane Tee Length - Most Compacet Tee.
There's no doubt about it, those propane Tees take up some space and create awkward connections. The MB Sturgis # 103602-MBS would be as good as any of them if those are the connection types you need. Are you adding a Tee for an outdoor grill? Do you need gas that comes after the pressure regulator? Maybe a better idea is to follow your gas line after the regulator. Most likely there is a hose after the regulator that runs to 1/2" iron NPT pipe that then runs under the coach and goes...

  • Can a Portable Grill with Built-In Regulator be Attached to the Quick-Disconnect on a Camper
I do have the correct fitting part # CAM59213 and hose part # 100476-48-MBS that will allow you to attach the female quick-disconnect fitting (photo 1) on your trailer to the type 1 fitting (photo 2) on your propane grill. However, the issue you are going to run into is that the female quick-disconnect fitting on your trailer is most likely ran through the regulator which means you can't then use another regulator on the actual grill because it would reduce the water column output too much....

  • Effect of Adding Propane Hose Extension to Thor RV Propane Hookup
Adding propane hose length to your outdoor RV cooking setup can cause you to lose substantial propane pressure. It really comes down to the propane level in the tank(s) and whether that is enough to overcome the additional resistance of a doubled hose length. Thor supplies a 10-foot hose as this will be short enough to deliver adequate pressure with most propane accessories. The extra 10-feet will probably not be an issue with the tanks completely full but at 1/2 capacity the tanks on...
