Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the JR Products propane hose. This propane hose is going to work to connect your LP gas cylinder up to your regulator on your RV or travel trailer, so that you can get that propane through to power up your propane powered appliances. Now, there are a few things that you want to keep in mind when looking for a propane hose to make sure that it's going to work for your setup. The first thing is going to be the length. Obviously, you want it to be able to reach from your tank to your regulator. This hose is going to be four feet long.
It's got a rubberized construction, so that's going to help resist any sort of kinks or cracking. It's got an internal diameter of a quarter of an inch, so that's going to allow plenty of propane to flow through so that you can power up those appliances. The next thing that you want to focus in on are your hose fittings. We've got two different hose fittings on this hose. You can see here we've got a POL connection, and here we've got the quarter inch male inverted flare. Your POL is a pretty standard connection.
It's going to fit onto almost all of your LP gas cylinders. It threads into the internal threads on the tank valve. So, you will have to install it counter-clockwise, which might be a little confusing or counterintuitive, but it just takes a little bit more concentration. You should be able to get it installed. You can see on the POL connection, we've got the O-ring here, and that's going to ensure a tight seal with the cylinder. And again, this is going to work for almost all of your LP gas cylinders.
Our quarter-inch male inverted flare might not be the case. So, some of our regulators have fittings that need this. Some of them don't. So, an easy way to tell, go out to look at your regulator. If it's got a gold adapter fitting, it's almost certainly going to need the male inverted flare.Keep in mind, this could also work with a dual cylinder set up.
So, if you've got two LP tanks that you're wanting to run into your RV or travel trailer, you would need a T that would hook up to your regulator, but then this fitting could fit into that T, so that you'd have two tanks going in. Of course, you would need a second propane hose. But something to think about if you're wanting even more propane into your system. This hose is UL and CSA approved, so it meets those quality standards. It's a sure to do a good job, hold up well for you. Now, if this isn't the hose that you need, maybe you need a different length or a different connectors, I'd encourage you to come take a look at our other products here at etrailer.com. Our goal is always to help you find the product that's going to help solve your problems so you can get back to enjoying your time outdoors. That's going to complete our look at the JR Products propane hose.
