Pigtail hose connects your RV's propane tank to a 2-stage regulator. Can also be used to hookup an auxiliary tank to a T-fitting inlet such as the Sturgi-Stay so you don't need to break camp to resupply.

Specs:
While this fill hose is typically used in conjunction with a Sturgi-Stay T-fitting (sold separately), it can also be used to connect your dual-cylinder propane setup to the regulator on your RV. It is important to note that this hose does not have a back-check to contain a gas leak. Therefore, when used as part of a dual-cylinder setup, it is not RVIA compliant. A backflow check valve is needed to prevent a major gas leak if one inlet is not connected or has a faulty connection. Both tanks in a dual tank system require check valves. An adapter fitting that includes a back-check (204120-MBS - sold separately) can be used to make your changeover regulator RVIA compliant.

Today, we're going to be looking at the MB Sturgis, Sturgi-Stay propane fill hose that Sturgis used to connect a dual LP cylinder system to a two stage regulator. The POL tank connection allows a higher flow of gas than a type 1 tank connection. A POL connection is great to have when bypass issues arise due to a high demand of LP gas from the RV appliances. On this end is our POL tank connection. On the other end is a quarter inch male inverted flare. The assembly measures 48 inches in length.
Nice thermoplastic construction when it comes to the hose. Nice strong durable design and it's flexible. It's going to have an internal diameter of a quarter of an inch. The hose features a temperature range of negative 40 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Maximum pressure rating is 350 psi. Maximum flow capacity is 500,000 BTU per hour.
The unit is UL, ANSI and CSA listed, and it's designed for LP gas only. Please note that the hose assembly does not comply with the RVIA code. If the dual-cylinder system is used incorrectly, than this tank connection does not include a back check to contain the gas leak. Please, just keep that in mind. We want to make you aware of that. That's going to do it for today's look at the MB Sturgis, Sturgi-Stay propane fill hose..

Excellent quality!
HIGH QUALITY HOSE, MADE IN USA. THE ONLY THING BETTER THEN THE HOSE WAS THE SERVICE RECEIVED BY THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE. REPLACE 20 YEAR OLD 5TH WHEEL TRAILER LPG LINES. TANK SEALS TURNED OUT TO BE THE PROBLEM, BUT HOSES WERE OLD AND NEEDED REPLACED FOR SAFETY REASONS. THANK YOU AGAIN "CARLA".
Excellent quality hoses! Exactly as advertised! Speaking of "as advertised" these hoses were bought to replace 2 hoses of another brand, from a company that specializes in selling everything in the world, but didn't mention the rating of the excess flow valve in the POL fitting. It was woefully undersized for my application, and after more than a year of grief and unreliable service, I discovered that this valve is not the same in all hoses of the same size. This discovery was made because etrailer advertises the size in BTU's of the excess flow valve in their hoses that contain them. I had to dig very deep for that info on my previous hoses, only to find they were 25% of my connected load! Thank you etrailer!
items were as advertised, arrived sooner than expected and the price for the propane parts was 43.00 les than any dealer around my area. The led taillights are first rate and a great value. I have ordered from etrailer before and was equally impressed. Will buy again.
I needed to replace the high pressure hose feeding into the regulator from the service valve on our mid 90’s RV. This was a perfect fit at an incredible price. I have ordered a few things from Etrailer and I must say their follow up service is great!
Flexible rubber hose. Look like a good hose. Time will tell if its a quality product.
The product was perfect, the delivery wasn't, they said it was shipped and wasn't
Just as described--works great.
Perfect. Just what I ordered and a great price
