Can 2-1/2" Trailer Hitch Be Installed on a 2000 Alpine RV
Question:
Hello, im wondering if you guys have hitches for motorhomes. I currently have a 2" 10K hitch on my 2000 38 Alpine RV and I was wanting to put a 2.5 on it, the highest rated one I could get. Do you guys sell anything for motorhomes like that? Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out!
For your application I recommend checking out the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-On Hitch which has a 2-1/2" hitch receiver, is rated for 20,000 lbs towing, and comes as part # C97CR for a 9" drop or part # C59CR for an 18" drop.
Since these are universal you'll need to check the compatibility with your specific frame, but the crossmember measures 62" wide and can be cut to fit, and the weld-on installation means it can fit multiple applications.
I'm attaching some review videos and the installation instructions for you to check out!
