  • Roller-style guides support your pontoon boat and keep it centered while you're loading it onto your trailer
  • Adjustable height provides a good fit for your boat
  • Support posts clamp onto the top of your channel, box-beam, or I-beam trailer frame
    • Mounting brackets allow you to adjust the distance between posts
    • Galvanized steel construction is sturdy and resists corrosion
    • Hardware included
  • Black rubber rollers with endcaps won't scratch your boat
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Quantity: 2 roller-style pontoon boat guides
  • Application: pontoon boat trailer frames up to 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall
    • 2 Extra-long U-bolt kits (CE11416 - sold separately) can be used to mount on frames up to 3" wide x 5-1/4" tall
    • 2 Sets of I-beam clamps (CE27682A - sold separately) can be used to mount on I-beam frames that are larger than 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall
  • Roller length: 13"
    • Length not including endcaps: 9"
  • Distance above trailer frame: 25" (from bottom of roller to top of frame)
  • Post dimensions: 23" tall x 1-1/2" wide
    • Mounting area is 9-1/2" long

Adjustable boat guides can be fine-tuned to work with your boat and your trailer. The galvanized steel support posts mount on top of the crossmember on your pontoon boat trailer's frame. Just slide the posts into the mounting brackets and secure the posts so that the distance between each bunk and pontoon is approximately 2" to 3". The rubber roller guides help to center your pontoon boat during loading and to support the boat during transport.

Galvanized Steel

Galvanized steel parts are hot-dipped in zinc after being stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mil to 5 mil thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

Just purchased a new tri-toon watercraft, it did not come with trailer alignment guides …. these roller guides are perfect, we look forward to years of easily aligning the boat to the trailer bunks ….. very well made. Thank you !!

by:

Great product! I ordered this as an alternative to a $650 rail system. The price was far more reasonable for my budget. I have a 24' pontoon and have struggled getting it straight on the trailer consistently so that the logs fall into the rails over the entire length. Shipping was very fast which I was thankful for. Took about an hour to assemble and install.
On my first try this weekend I got the boat on the trailer perfectly. I felt the rear guide nudge the backend over so that it lined right up. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!!!

Its been a year and still helping me every time I load up. I did add some small flags to the rollers after being to deep and landing a pontoon right on top of the roller. The flags help me not to back in too deep as well as show me I am centered at the back of the trailer.

by:

They did not work. Bent out of shape and were basically too weak and cheap to do the job. I remove them to keep from damaging my new boat

by:

I had so much trouble getting my toons on the trailer. The guides help position it if your a little off by pushing the toons over into the bunkers and then holding the pontoon in the rear from swaying if your a little to deep into the water with your trailer. I load up now in 4 minutes instead of 10 to 15 with fighting the dock waves.

by:

I have a pontoon boat and the bunks on the trailer are poorly designed and the boat is very difficult to get on the trailer properly. After installing These guides loading the boat is much easier. Very pleased with this product.

by:

Order shipped very quick without issue and arrived as described. Functionality of the product is a different story. Even though I installed according to instructions they created a huge gash in the side of one of my toons. Learn from my misfortune and do not buy these!

I have contacted the manufacturer and they have confirmed that there is not enough room between your pontoons. The 3 inch space is the same on the left and right, you will need to return what you had bought. These guide-on’s are to help put the boat on a trailer, outside of the pontoons. We do not sell a pontoon guide that goes under the boat, only on the outside of a trailer.

by:

Unfortunately, they did not work out for me at all. In fact, they ended up putting some pretty good gouges in the toons of my tri-toon boat. The problem is, they do not have a visual indication of where your boat is in relation to the trailer. I ended up paying a welding shop to put two guides on the back of my trailer that stick up out of the water. They keep the tri-toon boat aligned and provide a visual out of the water so that I know I am aligned properly. I have scrapped the ones I got from you..

by:

The rollers appear to be of good quality. You need a deep socket 9/16 to make it easier to put on. Have not tried it out yet since I placed it on my pontoon. Looks like it may be easier to load my pontoon onto my trailer.

by:

Very easy to install
Can load and unload
poontoon boat by myself so easy 1st attempt boat goes right on the boards
Best thing I bought so far for my pontoon
Thanks guys for a wonderful item
Makes boating alot more enjoyable

by:

the smith pontoon boat loader roller went on very easy ,Just like the video showed. And the price was very good. Thank You etrailer

by:

Easy to install.
Really helps getting
the tri-toon on the trailer especially in winds or fast currents.

by:

Working out great for my new boat and trailer. Learned just how much it needs to be sitting out of the water and guides the boat right on.

by:

the guides work great on my pontoon and were easy to install

by:

Very nicely made and looks great.

by:

Service was excellent and the installation was quick and easy. Only reason for four stars is that I haven’t used the boat yet and can’t make a recommendation on effectiveness yet. Looks like they will work great.

by:

Easy to install my trailer was missing the middle set. I don't know I ever loaded the 24fter with out them great products

by:

This product appears to be the best add on for pontoons. Fantastic aid for guiding the boat on and off the trailer, and once again the E-Trailer team got it to me in record time!

by:

Great product easy to install

by:

We struggled getting our pontoon lined up to get it on the trailer. Now we just have to get it close and roller guides line it up exactly how we need it every time. We have two in the back of the trailer and two in the middle.

by:

Shipping was very prompt and arrived in good condition. Installation was easy and guides appear to be sturdy and well made. Although I’ve not yet loaded my boat on the trailer since installing the guides, I am confident they will make loading so much easier!

After putting my boat in and taking it out a couple times these guides work beautifully! A big help!

Great product!!!
Sturdy materials and

I ordered the guides last year after taking my 18' pontoon boat out, and JUST got to use them at the end of the season this year (10/2019). I usually put the boat in the water in the spring and don't take it out until the fall. I ordered a total for 4 guides - two for the front and two for the rear of the trailer.

Because the boat was on the trailer when I installed the guides, it was fairly easy to install them at the specified distance from the pontoons, although I did have to climb under everything to do it!

The guides made it a lot easier to get the pontoons aligned with the trailer and onto the runners. In the past, I had to maneuver the boat with a paddle to get it to settle on the trailer properly, while someone slowly pulled the car forward. This year, once I got it all the way on the trailer it dropped down right where it belonged and I pulled it right out of the water.

The wind wasn't too bad, but enough that without the guides it probably would NOT have been as easy as it was. I always picked a fairly calm day in the past, but am confident I could get the boat out now on all but the worst of days.

I found out after I parked the boat that I had actually moved one of the guides about an inch when I powered the boat up. I did note that the bolts were not as tight as they should be, so I went around and re-tightened and re-aligned all the bolts (only one guide was out of place). I would suggest checking that they are tight before putting the boat on the trailer.

They seemed to do exactly what they were meant to do.

by:

The post guides make it so much easier to line up my pontoon with the trailer in windy conditions!

by:

The guides make loading simple. I use these with the the taller post style at the rear of the trailer and the pontoon loads perfectly every time.

by:

Got the folding saw to get free shipping.
Got
the roller on the pontoon trailer. It made lining the boat on the trailer much easier.

  • Recommended Guides For A Pontoon Boat Trailer
For a pontoon boat the best solution would be the CE Smith Roller Style Guide-Ons for Pontoon Boat Trailers # CE27672. These guides have rubber rollers to help safely and easily load your boat onto the trailer and the support post is a galvanized steel construction that's going to resist rusting and strong enough handle the load. • Best Boat Guide-Ons for Pontoon Boat to Help Keep it Centered
To help keep your pontoon boat centered, the best guide-ons are the roller style, the CE Smith Roller Style Guide-Ons for Pontoon Boat Trailers # CE27672. I like the roller-style because in windy conditions they help the boat keep its momentum as opposed to the bunk style which cause friction. These guide-ons fit pontoon boat trailer frames up to 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall though you can use the longer U-bolts # CE11416 for frames up to 3" wide x 5-1/4" tall. I have added a link to a video...

  • Will CE Smith Guide-Ons # CE27672 Have to be Adjusted for Different Pontoon Boats
Pontoon boats do have different measurements so it isn't really a "one size fits all" kind of application. However, if you install the CE Smith Roller Style Guide-Ons # CE27672 to fits the narrowest inside of the boats then they would still serve as guide ons, just not as custom of a fit. It could be that all of the pontoon boats you are referencing happen to have identical distances on the inside as well and these could work out great. It is just a matter of taking some measurements and...

I have attached a photo of the above guide-ons installed both at the rear and center of the trailer for reference.

This can actually vary from trailer to trailer. The CE Smith Roller Style Guide-Ons for Pontoon Boat Trailers # CE27672 is a great option but the height may be an issue depending on your trailer.
