Overall I would say a good product. Maybe not quite rigid enough for my heavier boat, but does its job. I made sleeves for the guides because the pvc tubes were leaving scuff marks on my paint
These longer U bolts allowed us to attach the trailer guides that our new BEAR trailer did not come with. The trailer guides are a game changer when putting our Bennington Tri-toon on the trailer, especially in the wind with the bimini tops up.
Needed for shorelandr trailer (Yamaha boat). Same quality as factory bolts shipped with the trailer guides. Arrived fast as stated.

After looking at multiple local stores, I turned to etrailer.com. The product was exactly what I was looking for and great quality. I know where to shop first next time.
The U bolts do not fit my original bracket, so,I need to order the 2 brackets and also the nut and washers for the u bolts I just received.
Why did Ups drop these off at my post office,I pay them to my door,I think they have something shady going on with USPS,unacceptable.
I have a welded aluminum boat with extended transom. I really needed some Guide-Ons mounted at the rear of the trailer to ensure that the extended transom centered up on the trailer bunks, as cross currents at the haul out would often skew the boat to one side, and I would need to back down in to the water and re-center. Frustrating when people are waiting in line!!
I got the CE Smith Guide-Ons, but was dismayed when I opened the box and found that the included U-Bolts were not long enough for my 5 inch EZ Loader trailer frame. A quick search of etrailer and I found the solution with the Extra Long Bolt Kit.
Worked perfectly. Now my boat stays centered when I haul out on the first try.
The Post Guide-Ons arrived quickly and have been installed.
They have not been water tested yet, but look like they will do the trick. Loading the boat on the trailer has been challenging when you can’t tell where you are side to side.
A couple things to consider: The width of the boat relative to the frame of the trailer make the bottom tubes of the guides just barely long enough. I believe it will work, but another inch of tube would be good for my setup. When installing, if you have a deep socket, you won’t have to switch to an open wrench. Other than that, I am very happy with these!
Unfortunately, the guideons i purchased did not fair well in the sun, and bent from the heat, to a point they were unusable. One side, not in the sun was usable, the other bent so far from sides of boat it was unusable in about 3 months time and 3 trips to the water. Bought a different set from a different vendor.
I updated my trailer by adding a set of guide-ons and its been a real plus especially on breezy days or loading /unloading by myself.
I have now had 5 orders with etrailer and i can say that anything i need in the future will be made with them. In stock , fast delivery ,quality products
Excellent product. Just as advertised. Easy to install solo and made of solid materials. Haven’t used to pull boat out yet, but can’t imagine it won’t guide me in great. I used the extra long U-bolt kit because of my trailer being 6 inches. Not sure why they wouldn’t just include them from the beginning as they are only a 1/2 “ longer, but that’s the way it goes. Very satisfied
U bolts were perfect for the frame on our trailer. Appreciate the aircraft nuts to keep everything secure.
Once i received my 6" ubolts i was able to install my guides on my trailer.

Stacie was fantastic in helping me order the right product for my boat trailer. It was delivered when promised. I have not yet had the chance to install the 60” guide-ons on my trailer but expect no problems . This is at least the 3rd time

Product sturdier than i imagined. Installed so easily. had to get the longer u bolts for my frame. 60" was perfect for my 21' boat. Very happy with delivery and tracking ability. I am a new and satisfied customer.
The bunks worked great. Boat went on the trailer nice.... fixed my issues 100 percent.
Arrived as promissed. Appears to be qulity material.The only site that offered larger u-bolts which I needed. Instructions could be better for an open bow boat but I may need to experiment. Overall pleased so far.
