Replaces the master cylinder for your Toledo drum brake actuator.

On this old flatbed trailer we're going to install the master cylinder for Toledo Brake actuators. Part number 10614. This is what you get with this part number. You have the master cylinder itself, a new rubber boot on this side here and new brass fitting on the other side. We flip it over and we see a new cap that comes with it as well. When your weight of your trailer goes up against the hitch ball, the plunger goes against this side of the master cylinder, that in turns shoves fluid out the other side and then on to your brakes. First up on our install, we'll go ahead and remove preexisting brake line. Next up we'll go ahead and remove two bolts that hold the master cylinder in place.
With the nuts removed we'll go ahead and drive out the bolts out the other side. Next we'll go ahead and work the old master cylinder out, away from the coupler. Now we'll go ahead and put our new master cylinder in to place then we'll go ahead and make sure it seats up against the master cylinder inside the boot. To get the master cylinder lined up with the existing holes, it may be helpful to go ahead and take the coupler end and pull it back out of the way if you need more room. Then we'll go ahead and reinstall the original hardware. With the master cylinder secured into place we will go ahead and reinstall the brake line.
One neat trick we can do with this brass fitting is loosen up the bolt. We can adjust the fitting to make it easier to match up to our brake line. With the line hooked up, all that remains is to go ahead and add fluid to the master cylinder and go ahead and bleed the brakes out. That will finish it for the master cylinder for Toledo Brake actuators, part number 10614.

Replaces the master cylinder for your Toledo drum brake actuator.I have a 1978 boat trailer that the master brake wore out on. That particular brand isn't available anymore, but this is a drop in replacement and the only change was the output fitting threads. For me, this saved a ton of work. I have attached pictures.
