Replacement Parts for Balcrank 16006 Brake Actuator

Question:

I think I only may need a new shock and cylinder. I took some more pics. It is a Balcrank product. Can you advise me on the corrects parts. I really appreciate the help.

To replace your surge brakes there are a few things you'll need to know, the first being if you have drum or disc brakes. You can then choose the correct disc or drum brake assembly; you'll need to know your axle capacity and wheel size for either. You will also need to know your bolt flange pattern and drum size if you have drum brakes.

You will then need the correct brake actuator and a brake line kit, which is going to be different if you have disc or drum brakes. I have added links to help articles which detail what you'll need for both disc and drum brakes, a help article on determining wheel bolt pattern, as well as links to our selection of actuators, brake lines, and brake assemblies for both disc and drum brakes. If you let me know the above information I'd be happy to help you get the correct parts so you can add brakes.

Thank you for the photo showing the model number; I missed it at first but after zooming in and some squinting I was able to make out that it showed # 16006, which is the Balcrank TA6 Toledo A-Frame Actuator. We do have replacement parts for that actuator, you need the Replacement Shock Absorber # 1844-2 and Master Cylinder # 10614. The other replacement parts we carry for that actuator are the Replacement Pivot Shaft # 1829 and Replacement Nylon Pivot Bushing # 1745.
