Today we're going to take a look at the Replacement 1-1/4" and 2" Shank for Swagman XC Series Bike Carriers.This part will replace the 1-1/4" shank on your Swagman XC Series Bicycle Rack. It also comes with this adaptor sleeve that you can bolt to it so that the bike carrier can be used with 2" trailer hitch receivers. Also includes these two set screws right here, that allow you to attach the shank to the bike rack.Now it does require an Allen wrench for installation of the shank to the bike rack, and for the installation of this adaptor sleeve. Basically what you would do, if you want to install this into a 2", just put one side of that sleeve on there. Take your Allen bolt, line it up with the hole, and once it lines up, take your Allen wrench and just go ahead and tighten that down. Once you get that tightened down enough, snug it up, and then you can see now it's ready to be installed into a 2" trailer hitch receiver.Does have a threaded hitch pin hole.

And it is listed on this product page as a related product.Again, this application is for Swagman XC Series Platform Style Two Bike Carriers, for 1-1/4" and 2" hitches. And that part number of that bike rack is S64650.
It will also work on the older generation XC models.Few dimensions on this. The length from the center of the hitch pin hole to the base of the rack is gonna be right about 17". And the rise on this is about 3".But that should do it for the review on the Replacement 1-1/4" and 2" Shank for Swagman XC Series Bike Carriers.

The end that fits into the receiver is good, however, the end for the bike rack was too small and the holes for the bolts didn’t line up. If you have a replacement part that would fit I would like to order it. I’m just not sure what I’m looking for. It’s a swagman bike rack and I bought it off of Craigslist.
This is the hitch attachment I needed for my older Swagman bike carrier. My carrier had the straight 2 inch hitch that I used for mt camper and pick up truck. The straight larger would not fit well on my car as sat to low and close to vehicle. This item was the perfect fix to use the carrier on the back of my car. I love the Swagman Carrier and find it has been the easiest and most secure carrier I have tried. For me it outperforms even the big name brands at a better price. Thanks Etrailer for always having the parts I need.

While the bike rack was damaged when I was rear ended, I was especially happy to find out that etrailer carried the part that needed to be replaced and the bike rack is now as good as new!
Picked up a swagman rack at a garage sale but didn't have the shank bar. Order through etrailer and in a few days I was able to use the bike rack. From order to final delivery, I was informed with shipping details and the cost of the part was very reasonable.
The bike rack is well constructed. Due to a car accident I needed to purchase the replacement shank and it was a perfect fit and etrailer got it too me quickly.

It looks like you have a Swagman Traveler XCS part # S64664. The replacement shank you will need is part # SP325. The Shank has a square at the bottom that fits around a ball mount that will go into the hitch of your vehicle.
