Availability of Replacement Straight Shanks for Swagan XCS Traveler S64664 Bike Rack

I have a Traveler XC2 rack for use on my RV. Long story short, I messed up the shank and need to get a replacement. Will this work as my rack is post 2008? Thanks

According to Swagman, if you're wanting to put a regular shank on your Swagman XCS Traveler 64664 You'd need to replace the entire gusset assembly which would be prohibitively expensive enough that you'd be better off purchasing a new XC, part # S64650. The # P249 repacement shank would not work.

The threaded pin, #P5901, will only fit Swagman racks that have a 2 inch shank. The anti-rattle insert fits in a 1-1/4 inch shank. So these parts are not compatible. But if you are using the replacement shank #P249 then you could just use #63232…
