Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com Today, we're gonna take a look at this Replacement 2" Shank for pre-2008 Swagman XC Series 2-Bike Carriers. Now, this part here will replace the shank on your Swagman XC Series 2-Bicycle Carriers manufactured before 2008. On this end, right here, has a threaded hitch pinhole when you install it into your vehicle's hitch receiver. And it includes this threaded pin and clip to secure this bike rack to the trailer hitch receiver and help eliminate any rattle. Basically what you would do, once this installs into your shank, you go ahead and thread this pin in. And once you get it threaded all the way in, then you clip it on the other end.
And as we mentioned, the application for this part is the Swagman XC Series 2x Carriers that we're manufactured before 2008. It is designed to fit into a 2" x 2" trailer hitch receiver. And the last thing, just want to give you the length on this. We measure from one end to the other. That's right at 19 and 1/8 inches long.

The product is perfect . The only complaint I have is your shipping.I have ordered a lot of product from you over the years and everytime no info about shipping.I ordered these on the 5th I live around 150 miles from you it took 5 day's to get it. In this day an age when everything is purchased on line and you need it yesterday I would think you could modernize your shipping.
Great. It allowed me to create a solo Thule bike rack for when I only take one bike on the car. Easier on the back then using Thule 2 bike T2 system.
