I ordered a Replacement Lead Jack w/drop leg(Stromberg Carlson Landing Gear-29.5") for our 2010 Keystone Copper Canyon Fifth Wheel on Wed. It shipped the same day, arrived Friday evening in great shape. Exactly the piece we needed. Very happy customer. Thank you etrailer.com

by:

etrailer was $XX more expensive that Amazon, but it said I would get the parts 2 days quicker. I paid the extra money to get them quick, but then they waited 4 days to ship even tho they were in stock. I wish I would have gotten them from Amazon instead

by:

Easy to install and works as it should. I carry an extra as a spare in case the other one goes out.

by:

Product was delivered in 2 days, faster than they quoted. Product fits perfect!!

by:

Great Job part arrived on time

by:

The service was excellent, Ed was extremely helpful, and the part was shipped unbelievably fast at a very good price. Highly recommend etrailer.com. Thanks again Ed..

by:

Product was a slight pain to install due to taking off the motor and screws being in tight spots along with battery cables but nothing you can't handle with some spare time. Packaging was damaged which broke the plastic stopper that came included with the bolts but I took the old one and sanded it down to fit the new piece while etrailer made things right and sent new bolts immediately no questions asked. Have camped a couple times now and works seamlessly. I installed on a 2003 Keystone Hornet 5th Wheel.

Follow up. Products been great after a year. No complaints after a solid 30 trips including winter in the mountains.

by:

Amazing service! I was getting ready to put our 5th wheel RV into winter storage when one of our original landing gear jacks failed. I was a bit panicked as to how i was ever going to get it fixed in time, but spotted a [online] video that etrailer had posted addressing the issue. Using the info in that video, i ordered a replacement jack late Thursday night, had a shipping confirmation within 1 hour, and received the jack on Monday... which was 2 days earlier than expected!! Installation only took me one hour on Monday night, and i was fixed up & ready to go. Thank You so much for bailing me out of a very difficult situation etrailer!!!

by:

Timely, helpful.I would have no hesitation to use e- trailer again, or recommend

by:

The company's customer service people were very helpful, even though they could not specifically guarantee that these legs would fit my trailer. The measurements matched and I ordered them. The legs were shipped right away and received on time. The legs fit, with a little help, in my 2008 Coachman Lite trailer. They work perfectly. I have always had good service with etrailer and the products are great. Thanks also to Melissa who called me to ask why I wanted them shipped to a different address. She understood that RV's break down on the road!

Jacks are still working perfectly after two summers on the road. I would highly recommend these as replacement jacks.

by:

After calling etrailer and asking for them to confirm the proper part number, I ordered the part and shipping was very prompt. I installed the part a few weeks ago and found it very easy to install and it worked exactly as Stated.

After a year the new Landing gear is working perfectly. I have referred other RV’s to Etrailer.

by:

I bought both LG 179013 and LG 179014. They were simple to install on my 2006 Montana fifth wheel. After a year they are working great. Can't tell the difference between these and the original landing gear.

I needed a new landing gear for my 5th wheel toyhauler. Rachel was very helpful, confirming the part number of the item I needed. Ordered on Friday, arrived on Tuesday (early). Install was easy, and works like a charm. Now I can put the gear down and unhook my truck!
Thank you.
You guys ROCK!

They fit perfectly

by:

one of the front landing gear jacks broke on our return trip after 3 months on the road. stopped at a rv repair shop in ok city. they wanted 2 weeks to get new jacks and 1500 bucks. decided to get home and figure it out. online investigation revealed etrailer had exactly what we needed, placed order, received 2 new jacks in 4 days. installation was very easy, took about 3 hours to do both. thanks

by:

The legs fit perfect . Both installed in less the an hour . The old ones were atwood but they fit the same . Thanks for getting me out of the dog house . My wife was pleased the 5th wheel was useable again .

They work perfectly . Glad you guys helped me as the dealer was of no help at all . No help from the 5th wheel manufacturer either . They stopped supporting our RV

by:

After emailing and sending photos back-and-forth on Monday to Jon Griggs he was able to pinpoint my issue and set me in the right direction for what jackleg I would need. Customer service was excellent and I wish there was more people willing to help out there in this world.
Package was supposed to be seven days out on free shipping and I actually got it in 4
Thanks again John for the outstanding customer service.

by:

This was a perfect fit for my Keystone Cougar 5th wheel. Replacement was quick. I was able to complete the job in under an hour (not including the difficulty of cutting a bolt out that was installed backwards by Keystone). Note that this item does not include the foot. I took the old one off and put it on this leg. Back in business in no time!

Tim, thank you for your review. The new foot plate would be part # LG-119225.

by:

came faster than last order. product fits but the tabs for all legs do not fit my ww 5th wheel. had to buzz down the tabs and weld new tabs to the new leg. after that it fits like a glove but that is due to our replacing the existing tabs. i saw nowhere on the website a leg that would be a replacement fit for the ww. otherwise its ok and luckily I have a friend who did the above in an hour or so.

The mounting locations can indeed vary from different makes and models of fifth wheel, which is why we list the dimensions of the legs and the locations of the weld stops on the product page.

by:

The part shipped quickly and was the perfect fit!

I have had no issues with the new jack. It works perfectly.

by:

The service at etrailer is great. The lead jack on my Montana fifth wheel would not extend. We removed the jack and discovered the shear pin sheared. We could not move the gears even with channel locks. Made a call to Joshua and reviewed the issues with him. We came to the conclusion that the jack could not be rebuilt and ordered the replacement recommended by Josh. The jack arrived in about four days and took less than a half hour to install.

  • Landing Gear Replacement Leg for 1995 Nu-Wa Hitchhiker II
We don't have anything with the weld stops at the precise points of your current legs. I recommend using the Replacement Lead Jack w/ Drop Leg for Stromberg Carlson Landing Gear - 29-1/2" # LG-179013 and follow leg # LG-179014. These will be slightly longer than yours and you will need to add weld stops on the correct locations or move the brackets on the trailer to fit the weld stops on the legs.

  • Replacement Landing Gear Parts For a 2007 Forest River Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite 5TH Wheel
The only way to know for absolute certainty what gears you need for your 2007 Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite is to know the exact system you currently have. Manufacturers like Forest River who manufactured your RV did not keep track of all the components they used on every camper and would often switch parts during a model years production if they ran out of supply or switched to a different manufacturer for that particular component. Also as the trailer is 17 years old now the parts could...

  • Replacement Lead Landing Gear Leg for Unknown Landing Gear Brand on a 5th Wheel Trailer
Many of the landing gear sets are either made by Lippert or otherwise have some interchangeable parts. However, a different lead leg could be geared different and cause uneven lift. So even though a different lead leg may work with the follower leg, and vice versa, I do not advise mixing brands. If you do happen to have the follower leg # LG-179014 then the correct replacement lead is # LG-179013.
