  The first two you mentioned are interchangeable and would work well with your Venture landing gear part numbers # LG-179015 and # LC276602, but the third part number # RVLG-RDBOX is for a different brand of Ram jacks and would not work for you. It does sound like your gear box is at fault though so it would be time to replace it. I'd go with whichever of the first two you mentioned that has best price as they are essentially the same.

• Troubleshooting Powered Trailer Jack That Will Lower But Not Raise
  First thing I'd check is make sure the battery on the trailer has a good charge and all of the wiring of the jack and switches are making solid connections. If a powered jack doesn't want to work properly it's very common that the issue is related to the battery or the wiring. Let me know if that checks out. Since we don't carry Atwood jacks any more we'll have to set you up with a new landing gear set.

The gearbox in this kit as well as the stand-alone replacements like # LC276602 are standardized. This gearbox part actually works with most brands of landing gear, including Atwood, Lippert, and Stromberg-Carlson. Just to make absolutely certain I did review your inquiry with Lippert and they said you're good to go with # LC333964.

  I don't know what landing gear set your trailer uses but thankfully, most are standardized so you should be able to use the Replacement Gearbox for etrailer and Ram 5th Wheel Landing Gear part # RVLG-RDBOX without issue.   If you were to remove the landing gear box from the set like with part # RVLG-RDBOX the jack legs would not free-spin and lower themselves so you could remove the box with the jacks holding the weight of the trailer or not. We do not carry the cross shafts for this jack though.

  Your gearbox for your 5th wheel landing gear, like part # RVLG-RDBOX, will make a bit of noise while you are operating it. However, if it is fairly old and the sound you are hearing is different than what it normally sounds like or if it is starting to rust then you will definitely need to replace it.   I do have a solution for you, but unfortunately manufacturers don't keep that kind of information on file. You could try using a replacement gearbox like part # RVLG-RDBOX and the compatible motor # LC142178 that fits Ram jacks, but without knowing the manufacturer and part number it would just be a guess as to whether it is the correct part or not. What I recommend doing is going ahead and just replacing your whole landing gear setup. It might be getting close to time to do that anyways...

  It sounds like the gearbox could be bad or possibly the motor, this could be easily confirmed by removing each of the components (gearbox/motor) and testing them separately. The gear boxes are luckily pretty standardized and not terribly expensive, the Replacement Gearbox part # RVLG-RDBOX is what I recommend.
