Today we're going to review part number RP58468. These are the Reese tall safety-chain loops for the Reese Elite Series under-bed gooseneck trailer hitch. This part has a quantity of two. Now these safety chain holders are designed for use with the Reese Elite Series under-bed gooseneck hitches. These loops are actually almost about a half inch taller than the Standard Elite Series loops that come with the hitch. This will allow you to accommodate safety chains that have larger hooks. They are a steel construction, very strong and durable.
They do have a nice black powder coat finish to help provide corrosion resistance and this part includes two of the safety chain attachments. But basically when you go to install these, what you'll do is you'll take the safety chain attachment, put it on top of the q-turn pucks that are in your truck bed. When you do that, it'll push up on this center lock right here. Once it pushes up on that, then you just rotate your safety chain attachment 90 degrees and then this center lock will drop into place and that locks it into place. If you want to go to remove these attachments, lift up on the center lock right here, rotate it 90 degrees and you can take it right out so it's a very simple installation. But that should do it for the review on part number RP58468.

When we bought our new fifth wheel , I insisted on having a gooseneck hitch instead of the disc type. We were happy to see that they installed a Reese elite series pro. It performs as well as I expected , if not better. I have and will continue to recommend this unit to everyone I talk to about my truck and trailer. Thanks for making a very good product.
I run a 5th wheel hitch but not a gooseneck so no real need for these. However, i am constantly hauling bulky items in my truck bed and good tie-down points are often not in perfect locations (yes, i have the 4 corner points and 6 stake pocket pop-ups) so these will add 4 more secure points. Easy to pop in when needed and remove when my hitch is needed.
These work as described. Easy in and out and they have a smaller footprint compared to the Curt part. I am using with the Andersen hitch to attach the chain kit.

Reese tall loops. Large hooks on our horse trailer wouldn't fit the Ram (dealer installed) loops. Fixed the problem, and shipped fast. All roads lead to etrailer! Highly recommended.
