Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the replacement safety chain holder for the factory Reese Elite Series fifth wheel hitch on the Ram trucks. Now, this is designed to fit the Reese Elite Series under bed goose-neck trailer hitch that's on the Ram factory installed hitch package. They're designed to be installed into the two rear pucks on the Ram factory installed system, and the reason is the two front pucks are a different size. So these are made to fit in the rear puck.If you notice, they have a nice black powder coat finish to them. This part is for a quantity of one safety chain holder. Comes with a set of instructions.
But basically, it's pretty simple how to install this. All you do is place this assemble. Now, you'll notice the center lock right here goes up and down. So, when you go and place this assembly on top of the Q-turn puck on the factory system in the Ram, the center lock will be in the up position. And all you have to do is, when you rotate this 90 degrees, that center lock will drop into place.
And it locks it into position. And you can hook your safety chains to it. To remove it, you just lift up on the center lock, turn it 90 degrees, and it'll pull right out.But that should do it for the review on the replacement safety chain holder for the factory Reese Elite Series fifth wheel hitch on the Ram trucks.

This safety chain attachment replaces a similar part on your Elite Underbed Bolt-On Gooseneck for RAM OEM packages only.The OEM Chain holders would not fit with my 5th wheel hitch base. The Reese holders fit fine and work well with my setup.
