How To Remove Reese Safety Chain Loops For Ford Puck System
Question:
Just bought a 2015 f350 with the puck system and the safety chain loops are in the back puck and cannot be removed. The pins have slight movement , but will not pull up to release the loops from the bed. How do I get them out???

The Safety-Chain Loops for the Reese Elite Series Under-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # RP58468 are designed to be quickly removed using the centerlock tabs. In the included video at 1:30 we can see an example of how these should be removed. The OEM puck system is made by Reese, so it's compatible with the Reese Elite Series products.
