How to Upgrade the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Square Tube Slider Part # RP30051
Question:
Will the head of Reese 5th wheel hitch #30862 fit onto the slide of Reese hitch #30051? I have the square tube slide but want to upgrade from 16k to 20k. My hitch is the wide stance with the standard rails.

In order to upgrade your Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Square Tube Slider part # RP30051 to a 20,000 lb capacity you are going to want to use the Double Pivot 20K Head and Head Support part # 30118 which will fit perfectly onto the Reese Square Tube Slider part # RP30048 that you have now.
The head of the now discontinued Pro Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part 30862 is not available separately.
