No problems. Works as described.

Item arrive quickly. This switch was purchase so I would have a way to turn off power to my electric tongue jack on my camper. If you don't cut power to the unit the built in light stay on all the time. Hard to believe the design engineers missed this important step...guess they were cutting corners to save money or own stock in battery companies. Anyway, I will do it myself.
Aside from that design complaint...the price and service are excellent with etrailer. thanks

I received the toggle switch promptly. Although i haven't used the switch yet it appears to be a good heavy duty toggle switch. I just wish it was made in America instead of China.

I installed this switch on a 12 volt hose reel for power on control in conjunction with a momentary pushbutton. It has been working perfectly for nearly a year now.

by:

Switch is used on my fresh water entry control panel on my RV. It is a direct OEM replacement for the originally installed unit. Quality made item. I recommend the product.

by:

I needed a good robust toggle sw. , I could not use a relay. 50 amp capacity. The switches have not failed.

by:

Best DC rated switch I've ever purchased.
I've
had several locally purchased switches just fall apart.
These switches are solidly built and also have the higher amp rating.

by:

Good looking product

  • 12V Power Switch for Operating Racing Lights on Golf Cart
A switch you use to operate your golf cart racing lights needs to be rated for the power draw of all the connected lights and for the voltage of your cart electrical system. Deep cycle golf cart batteries can be 6-volt, 8-volt or 12-volt. For example, Optronics ThinLine LED Racing Light Kit # LS-108 includes a 12V power switch to operate its LED lights. We also offer 12V power switches like Pollak Heavy-Duty Toggle # PK34212 which has two terminals; the supply hot wire runs to one terminal...

  • Installing Switch so Bestop PowerBoard Running Boards Can Be Turned On and Off on 2014 Ram
I spoke with my Bestop Representative, who tells me that the know of no way to temporarily disable the PowerBoards. My thought was to use a switch like part # PK34212 to interrupt the power connection to the battery, which is shown in step # 22 of the instructions I've linked for you. You could install the switch on the dash, have the switch 'ON' for when your wife uses the truck, have it 'OFF' when you're driving it. Keep in mind that installing the power steps in ANY manner other than...

  • What Gauge Wire and Fuse Should be Used to Install Bulldog A-Frame Trailer Jack BD500187
When wiring up the Bulldog A-frame trailer jack # BD500187 you can use 12 gauge wire such as # 12-1-1 (sold by the foot) as long as the distance from the jack to the battery is less than 20 feet. I am assuming that the battery is located at the front of the trailer near the jack so that shouldn't be a problem. You could use a larger gauge wire such as # 10-1-1 (also sold by the foot) but it is up to you. An inline fuse is not needed because the jack has an internal self-resetting circuit...

  • Can Pollak Toggle Switch # PK34212 Handle 25 Volts
Pollak Heavy-Duty Toggle Switch # PK34212 is actually rated for 12 to 24 volt systems. If 25 volts is the peak for your application then it will likely work. If the constant voltage is 25 volts or higher than I would not recommend it.

  • Installation of Ventline Vanair Vent on Ford Transit Connect Van with Corrugated Roof
Installing a roof vent on a vehicle that has a corrugated roof, especially a smaller vent like the Ventline # VP-543SP which requires a mounting hole only 6-1/2-inches in diameter, will mean that you'll need to fill the gaps between the vent and roof caused by those corrugations. The easiest way to do this is to use a pure silicone sealant/adhesive such as # 0160297 which is white or a similar product from a local hardware store that is often available in a clear colorless form or in...

  • How To Hook Up Utility Trailer Lights To Trailer Connector
Yes, it is possible to power a flood light via the battery charge line on the trailer connector. The battery charge line is already fused so all you would need to do is run a power wire part # 10-1-1 from the back of the trailer connector to the light. That said, you would probably want to be able to turn the light on and off at your leisure so you would also want to install a switch part # PK34212 on the power wire from the trailer connector to the light. The light would then need to be...

  • How To Wire Dome and Third Brake Light On Leer Camper Shell
The best product we have for wiring third brake lights in a camper shell is the 3rd Brake Light Logic Module part # PP20-702. If you were to combine this with an in-bed wiring harness such as the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness part # C56070 (works on all truck with 7-way) you could pull the signals for the module as well as the power for the light. You'd just simply remove the trailer connector and plug from the end of the harness and wire it directly to the module and light...

  • Does Signal Booster for TST TPMS Come With Inline Fuse
I reached out to the manufacturer, TST, about the Signal Booster for TST TPMS # TST-507-R, who told me the following: 1) The repeater does come with an inline fuse on the positive (red) wire. 2) All current repeaters do come with ring terminals. 3) When mounting the booster inside (such as in a bay) you can use any SPST (Single Pole Single Throw) switch. For this I recommend the Pollak Heavy-Duty Toggle Switch - SPST- On-Off # PK34212. The booster can be added to or used as a replacement...

  • Recommended Camera System for Interior of Enclosed Trailer
Actually, the # FOS05TASF Furrion Vision S Wireless Camera System you'd looked at is exactly what I'd recommend. The system has plenty of wireless range, and would work very well in your trailer, according to Furrion. The night vision capabilities of this system are good enough that it will work in complete darkness, but the detail you'll be able to see will be limited. Wiring a strip light like # ILL72CB would provide some extra illumination for the camera and could be wired into the...

  • LED Strip Lighting and Battery Charger for Interior of 18-Foot Enclosed Trailer
The LED strip light I suggest based on your trailer length is the Optronics 17-foot weatherproof model # UCL90CB. This light strip comes on a reel and has a peel-and-stick 3M adhesive backing for easy installation. You can see this item in the linked video. The strip can even be cut to length. Multiple strips can be linked together using parts # A90P1B and # A90PB which will make it easy to link lights strips on each side of the trailer as well as on the ceiling. I do recommend using...

  • Parts to Connect Trailer Lights to 12V Trailer Battery
It is easy to wire your trailer battery to your trailer's lights if that is how you prefer to run them. You might want to add a Solar Charger or two, like # PTW2997, to keep a continuous charge going to the trailer battery. This charger will naturally deliver a varying power output to your battery depending on the level of sunlight hitting the panel so using two in parallel connection to the battery will really help maintain its charge. If you need a 12V power switch to control the lights...

  • Will SPST 50 Amp Pollak Heavy-Duty Toggle Switch Fit 1/2 Inch Plywood
The threaded portion of the Pollak Heavy-Duty Toggle Switch # PK34212 you're looking at is about 1/2" long so in order to install this into a 1/2" of plywood you'll need to round out the plywood some. Aside from this the only other toggle switch that matches what you're looking for is the part # PK34213 but the only difference is that it comes with a 1-1/2" handle instead of a 1" handle.
